The First Clash, is known in Verde lore as La Salsaña, and in Diablo scripture as The Blistering Dawn. It began not with swords, but with spoons.
Prelude to the Clash - The Cult of Verde had gathered at the sacred Guac Basin to perform the annual Drizzle Rite, a peaceful ceremony where tomatillo offerings were ladled onto corn chip altars. But unbeknownst to them, the Diablo Disciples had infiltrated the nearby Pico de Gallo Caves, preparing their own ritual; the Flame Baptism, wherein jalapeños were ignited and hurled skyward in tribute to El Calor.
