Television drama engages the emotion as well as the intellect. This explains its power to change behaviour. An emotional reaction to a story often leads people to think about themselves and their own attitudes and behaviour.
The main focus of this study is to investigate if audience perceptions of TV drama messages have actual behavioural consequences and how this can be effectively controlled to protect TV audience from harmful content.
