A  mosquito  bite  or  a  bee  sting  is  not  considered  dangerous  in  most  cases.  Unless  you  have  an  allergic  reaction  you  will  not  be  treated  for  such  a  problem.  You  have  to  wait  for  the  itching  and  pain  to  go  away.  You  can  rely  on  medications  from  the  drugstore,  but  they  are  costly  and  in  some  cases  totally  ineffective.  There  is  a  bunch  of  home  remedies  for  bites  and  stings  that  have  been  tested  and  proven  to  work.  They  are  perfectly  natural  and  totally  safe.

One  of  the  simplest  homemade  medications  that  you  can  use  is  salt.  It  has  a  great  anti-bacterial  effect.  It  is  effective  for  reducing  itching  and  skin  inflammation.  There  are  various  ways  in  which  you  can  use  salt  to  relieve  bites  and  stings.  You  can  use  one  teaspoon  of  salt  and  mix  it  with  a  little  bit  of  water  to  make  a  paste.  Then  you  can  spread  it  over  the  affected  skin  area.  You  can  keep  it  for  as  long  as  necessary  and  then  remove  it  with  a  soft  cloth.

Alternatively,  you  can  dissolve  one  teaspoon  of  salt  into  a  cup  of  water  and  spray  it  over  and  around  the  bite  or  sting.  You  should  let  the  solution  get  absorbed  in  your  skin.  There  is  no  need  to  wash  it  off.  If  you  have  many  bites  on  different  parts  of  your  body,  you  can  make  more  of  this  salt  solution  and  rinse  your  body  with  it.  The  beneficial  effect  is  guaranteed.

Apple  cider  vinegar  is  another  effective  home  remedy  for  bites  and  stings.  It  can  neutralize  the  venom  without  causing  inflammation.  It  has  a  beneficial  cooling  action  that  will  relieve  the  pain  and  itching.  The  easiest  way  to  apply  this  home  remedy  is  to  soak  a  cotton  ball  into  a  small  portion  of  apple  cider  vinegar  and  apply  the  liquid  on  the  bite  or  sting  using  dabbing  movements.  Then  you  can  let  the  vinegar  absorb  into  the  skin  and  take  effect.

You  can  also  make  a  special  paste  to  double  the  effect  of  this  remedy.  Simply  take  one  spoon  of  vinegar  and  add  as  much  baking  soda  as  necessary  to  make  a  not  so  dense  paste.  Then  apply  to  the  affected  skin  area.  The  paste  can  stay  on  your  skin  for  as  long  as  desired.  Another  option  is  to  dissolve  one  cup  of  vinegar  into  a  bath  filled  with  water.  Soaking  yourself  for  15  to  20  minutes  should  relieve  all  bites  or  stings  on  your  body.

Honey  is  a  great  remedy  for  bites  and  stings.  It  has  a  natural  antibacterial  effect.  More  importantly,  it  contains  chemical  substances  that  effectively  reduce  and  completely  neutralize  the  effect  of  the  insect’s  venom  causing  the  irritation  and  itching.  You  simply  need  to  apply  a  little  bit  of  honey  on  the  affected  skin  area.  Rub  it  in  gently  and
