Traditional pesto sauce is based on basil, pine nuts and olive oil. But
Any combination of greens is possible. The sauce is rich vitamins and minerals perfectly suited to boiled vegetables and fish, if you eat them.
Ingredients
2 oz Cilantro
2 oz Parsley
1 tbsp Olive oil
9 Almond, nut (pre-soaked and peeled)
2 tbsp Pine nut
1 tbsp Olive oil
Salt, to taste
Directions
Rinse the cilantro and parsley, dip it in boiling water for a few seconds (until it appears bright green), cool, add the nuts and grind in a blender.
Add oil and salt and stir for a few more seconds.
You can add a clove of garlic and pumpkin seeds.
