It’s time

With this notice, the three of us know that I am ready. We now know he is still on this world looking for me.

This power is both awesome and terrifying. I am glad I have the total control over it. I now am, even though I am apprehensive, ready to actively search for the fallen god Jed. He should have stayed where he was hidden but that did not happen. It is my lot to find him in the universe.

What Jed did not realize was that the destructive power is in not having control of the entire deck. Loss of control of primal emotions is the trigger for the destruction.

The true power is being able to wield each card individually or in combination with any of the others.

I am glad that I have Felicity. She is vital, she is my anchor, my control.

Unlike when we first met, Jaylin knew that, once I conquered the ace of spades and had the control, I actually was invincible.

She is my power, my guide. Not with the ego and hatred for the universe but with understanding and the patience of traveling with Bee for the weeks she was with us.

Finding Jed’s exact location was now as simple as listening to the solar winds. I spot him lurking around my old home. He is trying to find me and provoke me. I tell my two that I have found him and will project the memory of Bee throwing me out.

I know that I need him to think that he has found me and i know that he will try to provoke me by using Bee’s anger.

I know that Bee is standing there. What she does not know is that her anger will sweeten the scent that I will emit towards Jed’s location. She is mad so I send the trail. I can see Jed turn and look towards where I am.

He has a smile that even Jaylin would cringe at and want to slap it off his face. He knows his puppet is here and will help her push me over. I have made sure that he cannot scent Felicity and Jaylin.

In an instant he is here but does not realize we can see him.

He starts whispering in my ear and Bee’s ear. Spouting hatred trying to get her to make me mad.

I will say one thing, Bee doesn’t put up with shit. She turns and slaps him so hard that he is knocked down. “Shit head, stay out of this. It is between me and this prick.”

Jed is angry and now slaps her out of the way with the same force. I think to my two, wrong move and they both laugh.

What is that looks she has. It is like a distant forgotten memory has been knocked loose and came to the forefront for a split second.

Now Jed is yelling at me. “Why won’t you get angry? You are a shit head looser that does not deserve to live let alone have these two beauties and this witch.” He points to Bee.

Wrong move. She finds her favorite weapon, a rock and she is an accurate thrower. Right off the back of the head.

That is my opening.

He is distracted and I use my heal, two of hearts to heal him but I am in disguise. I piggyback on his heal thought and take it from him permanently. I replace it with mine.

“Hay dip shit, I’m your opponent. Bee, listen to me one time. Let me take care of this.”

She stops, gives me the finger and steps back.

Jed comes at me and it’s game on. I dodge his first assault. It was a fire lance. Easy to avoid. I use ice and cut his arm but it heals and I steal. He finds that he no longer can use fire lance.

He is always the attacker. That is my plan. Attacks that only work once and are not effective. I let some just graze me to give him hope but my counter is always heal and steal.

No matter what Jed threw at me, I would rob a little more of his power through just using the simplest of the powers.

Injury after injury. Healing but now probing his memories, it got to the point that I could see the major hurt.

He finally realized that I was stealing powers but also prowling in his darkest memories. He tried to stop me and I almost lost control for a millisecond but now his power was waning. I was able to freeze him in place. I call over Bee, she still is being a bitch but comes over. I look at both and say.

“I’m going to put one hand on Jed’s head and Bee, I don’t want to have to freeze you but I need to put my hand on your head. “

She crossed her arms, wanted to fight but I struck first.

Now the two are on a pleasant landscape. Bee is startled and exclaims “This is my home world before I had the accident and died. I felt bad for leaving so soon but I could not be healed. He did not mean to get that angry and I do regret starting the argument.”

She looks at Jed and he still looks frozen but she knows that he is not. She knows.

Closing the short distance between them, she rubs his horns in a very familiar way. The scales fall from his eyes and sees that it is her. He has tears streaming down both cheeks as she lovingly says.

“You stupid asshole. You did not watch where you were throwing that tantrum. That argument we had was all your fault!”

She could no longer hold the pretense and hugged him and both cried.

All Jed could muster up was, “I really missed you, Bitch.”

They both laughed.

You see, there are certain people that have a tendency to argue with each other. To people looking in, they will seem like they are going to end up killing each other but they actually are made for each other. The making up Is most enjoyable but each enjoy an unfettered all out yelling match.

I break the contact and both in real life continue the hug. Then she starts yelling at him about using her as bait to get me angry. He is yelling that if he knew she was who really is he would have pushed her harder.

“Was having me hook up with that bosses son your doing?” She is loaded for Bear in anticipation of his answer. He responded that he would not have gone easy on her even if he had known. Then he makes a big mistake. He says, “That would have paid you for leaving me all alone.”

I freeze the both.

Jaylin came over to me and told me that the gods have now stripped him of all powers other than healing. It seems like the gods figured they both are going to need it.

I unfreeze them and they turn on me. Jed goes to use a power and finds that all have gone. Bee gets a frightening look on her face. “At least you cannot kill me this time.”

Jaylin grabs both by the ears and sits them down in the RV.

“The gods have stripped your powers and given you the same number of years that Bee has. In the end you both will pass on to the final life within minutes of each other, unless either of you kill each other. Now you will be dropped off at your new home. You both have jobs and will work hard at them. You will be given the knowledge the second you enter that home. Now Bee, take him to your room.”

Now she tells me, “Craig start driving. The navigator already has the route. The faster you get there, the less noise, shall we say, we will hear.”

Then she says that it is a few days away. “Once we drop them off, I will be moving in with you and Felicity. We will need the room for a few more traveling companions. The next world will have travelable roads but now there is no need for refueling or restocking.”

She and Felicity both smile as I ask if I can drive all night.

What the fuck? Next world?

Jaylin now tells me that I am the universe’s fixer.

“We, in this RV, will travel the universe, fixing things that threaten the stability of it.”

We almost need to yell because it appears that they are now making up for lost time.

“Can we limit the volume on those two? We may need to watch them to make sure that one of them doesn’t kill the other. I don’t want to go through this again.”

We laugh.

Between the screams of joy and the arguments, the two women offered to drive while I got some sleep. It was a little after dawn on the third day that we arrived at their home and politely ushered them out. They were welcomed home by neighbors.

Both politely greeted the neighbors. As they went inside, the neighbors came over to us and thanked us for taking care of them but the neighborhood was too quiet. One woman summed it up quite nicely.

“Those two love each other because they can just be themselves. Argumentative. If one takes the one position, the other takes the opposite. Argue, swear but never physical.” Her husband laughs and adds, “Unless it is when they make up.”

Even we have to laugh. I tell them to try being with them in an RV trip while they make up. Both are screamers.”

We say our goodbyes and wish the neighbors good luck.

I start to drive. My two notice that I have put in to the navigator “Your Dream Camp Grounds”

The voice states the route “Turn right after last chance gas. Your destination is ten minutes driving time.”

I drive and now see the last chance garage.

When that sign and the cabin come insight, I tell them that we are home.

The navigator tells us that our new destination is already installed and the route is planned for the scenic Your Dream Camp Grounds route.

Now that we are home, I do remind them of my promised dances. Those two start shedding their clothes. I really now love my life.

Author’s notes:

This story started as a brief portion of a dream I had almost a year ago. I had tried to work it but stalled only to out it on the back burner. Finally, a little less than a month ago, I was able to take this back up again. My style is to start the opening chapter and then the end chapter.

I will then figure out how to get there. That was my sticking point. It was not until recently I had a dream about facing a wizard abd had to best that one to gain my powers.

After browsing my dream notes, I saw that it fit and here we are.

Now if I only could find the connection I need to finish my other longer stalled story.

A human who enters a contest to earn a new game consol by drinking copious amounts of water without urination. Last one dry wins, he gets second place. That is as far as I can release for now. I have him on another world with two of the three wizards he needs.

That one is the next one that I will finish. I hope you enjoyed this one but I do hear whispering about needing to write more about the new ultra imps from the Electronic Commandoes.

Those helicopters with the imp faces chuckling and the female imps with their two woman machine gun jeeps need more stories. They all still need to experience the special space travel.

Thank you
