After breakfast, the group was once again whisked off to their destination. As they neared the front gate, all eyes grew wide with fascination as the vast complex of Nasa's campus quickly came into view. Even Kate's mother stopped gawking at the driver long enough to take in the sight of Nasa's vast technological array of buildings, antennae, and military vehicles. There were other vehicles that had been painted white with the words 'Homeland Security' emblazoned down each side. Taken together, the entire scene left the group feeling more than a bit intimidated, but also fully aware of the high level of secrecy that enshrouded everything within view. They also knew that there would be more.
