Chapter 6
The evening passed uneventfully, with dinner ordered as soon as the group’s luggage was stored. Elaine suggested a movie, but the teens decided that sleep was a bit more important. According to the rules laid down by the school, they were dividing into two rooms according to gender. Both privacy and personal conduct were seen as priorities. After all, they were representing their high school and the reputation of both their school and their character would be open to criticism. But for now, sleep was the only thing on their minds. Even Elaine, with the rush now wearing off, was beginning to feel the slight effects of jet lag and as soon as her head hit the pillow, she too drifted off into a deep sleep.
