We have had a wonderful time getting to know each other. Vanessa and I have really bonded. I never think of her as anything other than the ship, its functions and her physical self. They are all the aspects of Vannessa and I make sure she knows it.

She has grown on me.

There were many items from my worlds space that were very interesting. We were able to restore many of the satellites. Most were government related so I really want the goblins to research them for usefulness. I understand that they have humans on another world the help them so I will bow to their discretion.

We are due. Our stores are near full, especially the base materials. The metal ingots of all metals. Some are of metals I have never seen. I have a private store of all the types. For us there is really no need for money. When we off load, I have a list of what stores we need. They are able to gather the items. I call it a fair exchange.

This time though, the goblins were excited about everything. They knew that their friends would be going wild. The goblin leader for this supply depot asked us if he could contact Steve Wright. He is their friend and he is the CEO of Invent Unlimited Corporation.

I tell him that I have no objections. “If you say he is good, that is all Vannessa and I need to know.”

Steve is a very pleasurable person. He did bring his partner Carmine with him. We are told that Carmine is his expert in valuable metals. While Steve is ogling the satellites, I ask Vannessa to show Carmine and the goblins the metals stores.

“Take him in the truck. They will love the ride.”

Steve wants all of the satellites and a few other items. The back of the pickup, beside Carmine. was full of the gold and silver bars along with some of the strange metals. The goblins wanted to ride in the cab.

They came out and asked if they could have it.

“I want to show you something that I think you will like better.” Steve tells them. He opens his laptop and shows them a few specialty cars. From true mini’s to those novelty small one seaters.

They are excited so he tells them that he will procure a few for them. I ask them, knowing that they will tear them apart and document all aspects of every part, to up load the diagrams to us.

Later we are informed that the metals sold for an astronomical price due to the purity. There are some that Steve is buying and the satellites are being patented for government use only. Per Steve’s agreement with the government, they will be used for peaceful purposes only.

We stunned them when they asked for where we wanted our portion of the money deposited. Normally I would have been staggered at the amount but now that I have Vannessa and the exchange with the goblins, we only occasionally need some money but I have my gold and silver bars.

With my partners specialties, all we need to do is scan the currency of a world and we can use the ore to make exact replicas.

“You need to take fifty percent and start a fund for those who need help to stand on their own. It needs to be learning the trades. I was an electrician who grew into a total contractor with quite a few employees. More people want to be executives not realizing the trades are where the money is.”

Venessa now tells them the remainder goes to the goblins to be used as they see fit. “They were nice to me and always told me that they would find me the right one for me and they did.”

She is smiling and holding on to my arm.

We finish unloading and the goblins close the door. We’re on our way to the next area but there was a flash of light and now there is Richard and the gods of all

I am getting more than a little upset. They are talking only to me and almost ignoring my mate. I need to stop this right now. Let the chips fall where they may.

“Why are you ignoring my mate, my partner. She is a vital part of my life. I ask you to talk with the both of us.”

They just smile at us. “We were trying to see how you would react. The bond you two have is unusual. There is something we are going to propose. Right now, she is a solid projection but only a projection. For her to become real and still be able to control the Bone Yard, Vannessa would have to become immortal and on a god level mage. We would do the same to you. The Bone Yard would be elevated to the same level.”

I ask, “Why are you offering this to us?”

The male god of all tells us that it is simple. “You already are like a mated couple. What you did with the money. Instead of keeping it, you Jacob, are setting young on a path that you traveled and will benefit all they touch. You Vannessa honor those who cared for you without knowing you. That shows us that you are real. You already had heart and now you are glad that you are alive.”

The female just says “The reason we offer it is because you both are real.”

The male god looks down then he says “Ya that is what I should have said. She said it all. You both are worth it.”

Now we are asked if we want to have this done. Vannessa is looking at me and is almost pleading for me to say something. I know exactly what I am going to do. I turn to her.

“If we were to do this, I need to ask you something important and doing this before the gods is the right thing to do. Vannessa, your are as real as real can be to me. I know you, I really like you but I know that I could never live with out you. I love you and want to be with you for eternity doing what we are doing. Will you spend eternity as my wife?”

She is silent and almost needs a chair. She turns to the gods of all and says make us the way you have offered but with two conditions. Pronounce us marrieds before you change us and make Jacob the same as me. We both can live and we both can mentally control the ship.

They both say “It is done.”

Jacob is now feeling what I fell, everything is alive. This whole ship is alive.

They now look at us and say the universe recognizes us as married. Now I feel my heart beat. I am breathing, my skin feels all the sensations. I cannot help myself. I have been wanting to do this but felt that I was not entitled. Now this is my husband.

Without a warning, I kiss him long and hard. The wonderful thing is he is kissing back. Never have I felt this euphoria. I am almost about to pass out.

The gods of all say that we now can stop our time. Then they leave.

We look at each other. Jacob says, “:My darling wife, we will leave the mating in space to the imps. I have had the servoides put a mattress and some food in the bed of the pickup. What do you say to driving to a view port, turn off the lights and enjoy… the stars.

That is what we did. It was fun because we did control everything including getting to our next destination. I almost did not notice a critical item. The commandos are back and the imps are watching us like they were watching a porn movie.

We did finish and saw the response. They all were going at it. It is in their nature, so seeing us was just normal for them. Funny, neither of us are embarrassed.

When we got dressed, they did not.,
