Gregor, the evil one
Gregor is the evil force trying to take over this world. He really has a big chip on his shoulders and wants to make everyone suffer like he has. Unwanted, picked on and beaten just because he was smart and talented but was the skinny book worm type. He used that study habit and in a forgotten room in an almost never visited library there was a dust covered tome. It is one that should have been destroyed or at least locked up in a forbidden library.
Vengeance is his. This is power. He will make the whole world pay for letting them pick on him. First to feel his wrath was his parents. Why did they not protect him? Why did they not defend him? They had a horrible death. The bullies were next then more and more people needed to die.
He found out that he enjoyed dishing out punishment. The thing that he never could understand is that he had become worse than the worst bully in his past.
This was the day that he had waited so long for. These were the hand picked of the gods. In his mind, those gods did not want to sully their hands with having to take him on directly. When he defeated these, they would have to fight him directly or capitulate.
Gregor’s problem is that he thinks past whoever is in front of him. No one but the gods are worthy of fighting him. All others are just like those in the past who he eliminated. Fools for daring to take him on. He shows all that he cannot and will not be defeated.
He now starts the fight with his speed and prowess. He operates with almost perfection, but he is now getting mad. These do not act like all the others. These four are coordinating their attacks. They are supposed to do the normal thing, just one skilled attack at a time.
These are using different attacks that are chaotic. Flying on shields, hand to hand combat, brute strength and those damned rapid fireballs. None of those are tiring, no one is running out of mana.
There is a strange force that seems to be wandering but he cannot locate it.
For the first time since childhood he now is experiencing doubt. The book never even mentioned going against such a weird array of attacks. He has to think too much, too many styles for him to concentrate on the way to destroy them.
All he is doing is fending off. He has not, since he found the book, been on the defensive. They need to give him time to think. “I have to think. This is not rational, not fair.”
The fight of the four along with the skills that Chris has developed. They were able to overcome Gregor with something simple as wearing him down with equal skills boosted. Garth now is not using his strength in a way that you would think. He loved the way that Chris took care of Carmine. Something as simple as mud balls brought Carmine to his knees. Let the three wizards confront him but with the boost he was getting and softball size mud balls, he was able to throw Gregor off his game. That was enough to allow the three wizards to wear Gregor down.
Chris dealt the final blow. All he had to yell was “It’s time for my pee!” At the end was something as simple as a bottle of pee that was the knockout punch. The dreaded evil one went to sleep.
When Gregor woke, he was tied and out of ideas. He knew he had lost. That insecure child came back. He asked them to kill him. Chris steps up to him and asks him why?
He is stunned when he hears that Chris would love to have him on his team. “Let’s wander this world. Have fun and capture gangs for the reward. Anyone that has a problem, we will only laugh at them. We just tell them that they are only worth being pissed on.
Gregor had to be honest with himself. He took everything to heart and he let what he is being told is the truth. Then Chris did something that he never expected. Chris cut his bonds and extended out his hand. He saw all of them smiling, even Garth looked as if he was at peace with the idea.
He found that this is a turning point. If he continued that path he was going on, the next to best him would not be so kind. He accepts the offer but has to ask what was the potion that caused him to immediately fall asleep.
He could not believe that it was piss. Chris went to show him but all of them run a safe distance away. Gregor sees this and waves off Chris.
For the first time, he realizes that no matter how strong you make yourself, alone there will be someone stronger. All it took was teamwork and a bottle of pee to overcome the strongest wizard.
One thing that never happened to him. After time he and Sara became close. Not as wizards but as a man and woman. They would butt heads all the time. After a while, they both noticed that there were feelings developing. He finally had peace. He has started to live life instead of just existing in anger.
They now are the most sought after party in this world. Going all over, getting rich parading their naked prisoners into town. It only took the second time of marching those naked gangs through town for Gregor to realize that this was far more satisfying than just killing.
They would have to live with the shame of being known, not as the fierce dreaded bandits, but as the naked parade. He now does have regret on just killing. This is so much more fun.
After a long career of rounding up those gangs, They all decided that they were going to retire from that life. They bought a land that would be almost a country in itself. Garth had his large home with an extremely large full wrap around porch.
I had a home next to him as did Jim.
However, the three of us insisted that the now mated couple, Sara and Gregor, build out of earshot from the three of us. They really love to argue loudly. That is because they are louder making up. They are just loud and we three speculate that now is because they are now almost deaf.
Sara is pregnant and the three of us have discussed that we may need to go on a trip very soon.
I cannot imagine what that child will be like. I only know that it will be loved like no other.
Authors notes:
This is one of those stories that I would type a few lines then a squirrel would run through my mind and I would chase it. After reading what I had written, I finally got interested and knew where I needed to go. I was stuck with Sara and Carmine. My idea was that I was going to kill off the evil one but Gregor came to mind. He deserved to be understood and shown that something better was out there.
I hope you enjoyed this story.
