I did not know she had this other side
The love of my life, that woman I gave up the final life, for now, has developed multi personalities. She can swing from the most loving person, to someone that even the most evil person would be whimpering while they cower in fear.
Then there is the totally indifferent Regina. That one is the one I take notice of. With that one present, no matter how much love I shower on her, or not, one of the other two are moments away. Say the wrong thing and I really run for my life.
Rose, Maribell and Brenda finally gave me the basics on the pregnant hormones. It was not a long meeting. What is boiled down to a bit of advice.
“Always remember” Rose said, “A felid, as opposed to the other people, has claws. We know how to use them. Always have the posture that you are always wrong. Apologize and treat her to sessions of pampering. Especially at night.”
Brenda adds, “Let her sleep on the side of the bed closest to the bathroom.”
I started to laugh but the looks I got. Remember, I am a god class mage but that look caused all my bones to decalcify. All I could do is write this down in front of them and complement them for their advice. Then got out as fast as possible.
Brad gave the best advice “Just stay out of their way. You will live longer.”
Regina goes on to have those five children she wanted. Three boys and two girls. All were talented but thank the gods, none had the power their parents had. She had those grandchildren she wanted. All are cherished and loved by both.
Lately she sees her mate painting on a false face over the forlorn and tried true face. Anthony loves and enjoys each and everyone of them. Is happy when they come over to visit. But……
Those grandchildren are now approaching their twenties. There a few that he can see are bringing what can be seen as eventual mates. That is when he will get up and go to his workshop in the basement. Regina can hear some soft noise over the drone of the band saw. She can tell that the band saw is just running.
She knows.
