Book Description HTML

The Classic book Jacob’s Room by Virginia Woolf. Published in 1922, Jacob’s Room recounts the life of Jacob Flanders as (mostly) seen through the eyes of people who know him. Set at the turn of the 20th century, the book follows Jacobo’s life from his early days, to his schooling and then into adulthood, including his travels, love affairs and finally into the war. This novel is very different from Woolf’s earlier works and is regarded by many as an important example of a modernist style.
