The bus stops at strange stations:
Regret Junction, where people disembark to shout apologies into echoing wells.
The Museum of Unsaid Things, where exhibits include unopened emails and unsent texts.
The Carnival of Lost Futures, where rides are powered by missed chances.
Eventually, the dreamer notices that the bus is shrinking. Seats vanish. The flamingo driver becomes a paper cutout. The windows show only static. The dreamer stands, walks to the front, and finds a steering wheel made of braided hair and old receipts. They take the wheel.
The bus lifts off the road, off the river, off the dream itself; becoming a thought, then a whisper, then a memory someone else might dream tomorrow.
