The Bureau of Dreams to be Continued

The family gathered in the backyard, where older cousins dashed around collecting eggs. Leo sat on a picnic blanket, mesmerized by the flurry of motion. His aunt handed him a soft lamb toy, and he hugged it tightly, squealing with delight.

Later, Nora dipped his tiny fingers into pastel paints and helped him press them onto paper; his first Easter art. The result was a chaotic swirl of color, but to his parents, it was a masterpiece.

As the day wound down, Leo napped in his stroller beneath a blooming cherry tree. The breeze rustled the petals, and a few drifted down like confetti, landing softly on his blanket.

That evening, Sam and Nora tucked Leo into bed, his lamb toy beside him. They whispered stories of springtime and renewal, of hope and joy, and of the many Easters to come.

It had been a day of simple wonders; bright eggs, soft toys, laughter, and love. And though Leo wouldn’t remember it, his first Easter had planted something deep and beautiful; the beginning of a lifetime of celebration.
