his razor and/or involving his muscle man partner. At the time Fred was hanging out with Tony the K, an asshole who thought he was cool, and couldn’t fight shit. Fred kept his money in his shoe, and when asked for a loan just told Gary that he didn’t have any. It was the easiest thing to do and avoided a direct confrontation. Gary would “check” you, pat you down in a search supposedly for hidden money, which Fred thought was his biggest faggy thrill, but never touched the feet. Anyway, one day Tony the K and he was at First Street, in an amusement park bordering the bay, and Fred couldn’t very well say that he had no money, when he had some right in hand. Still, Fred refused the watermelon man who said there would be a fight, and Fred knew that self-named Tony the K was going to be completely useless with that. So they all went where they were to fight and at the last minute, the watermelon man backed out saying; “Yoo goan hab to fite mah man, Iron Shadow heah.” Fred acted as if he didn’t give a shit one way or the other, shrugging his shoulders. Luckily, just then, a cop car came around making the watermelon man and Iron Shadow run away like black ass coons that just saw and heard a gun’s click. That was the last Fred had seen of him, as he moved away as soon as he could, the watermelon man not being the only piece of shit around.
