There, seated cross legged on a motherboard altar, was the Data Shaman; a figure draped in ethernet cables and chanting the source code of forgotten social media platforms. His fingers danced across the air, sculpting XML sigils visible only to minds saturated in kombucha.
Leary approached, barefoot and buzzing from leftover cosmic radiation. “I seek the algorithm of the soul,” he declared.
The Shaman snorted. “You’ll need a VPN of the spirit.”
He initiated Leary into the sacred rites of cache purification, where one must delete their browser history in reverse chronological shame while listening to early MySpace playlists. By nightfall, Leary had restructured his chakras into decentralized nodes and could communicate via emotional JPEGs.
