THE PEOPLE

Echoists were citizens who wore headsets that loop inspirational quotes and authorized opinions. Echoists prided themselves on having no original thoughts, only beautifully repackaged consensus.

FreeThinkers (FT) were a marginalized endangered species, lurking in basement libraries beneath the city, FreeThinkers practiced the ancient art of asking "Why?" At times this required intelligence, but most often did not. For example, when darkies were being arrested, they often said; “Wuffo ah be arrest? Dindu nuffin.” This sub-grouping, was considered adorable or cute, especially by the condescending well to do, but dangerous, like all FT’s. A recent pamphlet described them as "tragically curious."

The Influencariat Celebrities and charisma specialists who enforce patriotism with perfectly filtered selfies and choreographed loyalty dances. Their catchphrase: "Unity is trending!"
