ALI'S FIRST BIRTHDAY

Ali's first birthday was a huge event. All her daycare friends attending.

One of Madge's Twin Son's Blake arrived (the Bondi Life Guard) with a beautiful young woman as tanned as he was, with blonde hair and a big smile on her face. Her name was Kate.

After being introduced Madge said to Kate “Blake has mentioned you on the phone several times, I am so glad to finally meet you.”

“Well I am glad I got a mention” said Kate “cause I hope to be seeing a lot more of you. Now tell me which one is the birthday girl?”

“The one with the most jelly down the front of her dress” laughed Summer.

Kate looked at Ali and said “She is soooooo cute, I hope this one is a girl” cradling her stomach.

Both Madge and Summers jaws hit the ground.

“What, really? Blake you get over here right now” Madge shouted.

Blake came over looking a little flushed saying “I thought we were going to make it a private moment Kate, we have been here all of ten minutes.”

“Well ten minutes is too long to wait” said Madge grabbing her Son and Kate in an enormous hug.

Zac had arranged a clown to arrive which terrified two of the children. With that Ali went up to him on her shaky little feet, just having learnt to walk, and smacked him on the knee as if to let it be known he had done a bad thing.

“Well that girl already knows what she wants and won't put up with, keep that in mind when you have yours” Madge said to Blake and Kate pointedly but with a huge smile on her face.

Summer gave Ali an art easel with enough paint to cover a house saying “You never know she might follow in her Grandma's footsteps.”

Jane gave her a motorised car with the card saying “Drive over to my place whenever you want to, love you with all my heart Aunty Jane.”

Of course Madge made the birthday cake which was spectacular to say the least.
