Celine and Kayla Were Seen
Together After School
At precisely 12 pm, the school was released, and Celine and Kayla were spotted once again in the hallway, preparing to meet their parents, who were waiting for them.
“Hi, best friend!” Celine greeted Kayla.
“Hi, best friend!” Kayla replied, embracing her.
“How were your classes?” Celine inquired. “They were good, and yours?” Kayla answered.
“Good! Thank you!” Celine replied.
“Do you remember the old black man we encountered at the park yesterday?” Celine asked Kayla again.
“Yes! Why?” Kayla responded.
“Did something unfortunate happen to him?” Kayla further questioned her.
“Did you know he resides in the same neighborhood as I do?” Celine replied.
“My mother and I saw him walking towards his home near my apartment.” She added.
“Perhaps that's how the sheet of paper originated from his home since he lives quite close to your apartment,” Kayla replied.
“Exactly!” Celine agreed.
In fact, the school was bustling with students in the hallways and the yard.
Some students remained for after-school activities, while others were outside waiting for their parents or with their parents who had come to pick them up.
For Celine and Kayla, their parents were already outside, ready to take them home. Mr. Nortreus Visited a Toy Shop in the Town
Sometime later, after 12 PM, Mr. Nortreus completed his work and stepped outside to head somewhere.
Was he going to the park?
No, he was not going to the park.
Instead, he went to a toy shop.
When the moment arrived, he exited his office and made his way downstairs to leave the building.
“Mr. Nortreus, are you leaving now?” some staff members who noticed him leaving asked him.
“Good afternoon, everyone!”
“Yes, I'm leaving due to an emergency,” he responded.
“Please, be careful!”
“Have a good day, sir!” They wished for him.
“Sure? Thank you very much for your concern,” he replied, expressing his gratitude as he was about to step out.
Then Mrs. Medjina crossed his mind.
“Have you all seen Mrs. Medjina?” He asked them.
“Mrs. Medjina was here just a few minutes ago,” one of the staff members replied.
“Perhaps she went to her office or is conducting inspections elsewhere in other sections,” another suggested.
“Alright, fine.”
“When she returns, please let her know that I'm heading home,” he instructed.
“Understood, sir! We will inform her, okay?” They assured him.
“Thank you!” He replied as he exited the building.
In fact, he walked, and after a few minutes of walking, he spotted a toy shop and decided to enter.
“A toy shop!”
“Wow! That’s nice!” He exclaimed. “It seems the town is beginning to prepare for Christmas,” he remarked as he approached the entrance hall.
Upon entering the shop, he wandered around, noticing it was bustling with people, particularly children and their parents.
