Mr. Nortreus Met the Girls’
Parents for the First Time
“Hi! Good afternoon!” Mr. Nortreus greeted Celine's parents and added, “Do you know you have a well-mannered child?”
“Thank you for your kind words!” Celine's mother responded.
“We are already aware that our daughter is a well-mannered child,” she added. “Great! Both girls are well-mannered.”
“You are welcome!” He replied.
“Nice to meet you, sir!” Both of Celine’s parents said to him.
“Nice to meet you both as well,” he responded.
“Thank you!” He added.
“Celine, let’s go now!” Her father told her. Indeed, Celine immediately stood up to go home with her parents.
“Goodbye, best friend!” She said to Kayla.
“See you tomorrow!” She added.
“I’m leaving too,” Kayla replied.
“Leaving too soon?” Mr. Nortreus told them.
Who said that?
Mr. Nortreus!
Of course!
“I’ll find my parents waiting for me.” Kayla replied.
“See you tomorrow, best friend!” She added.
“Goodbye, girl!” Mr. Nortreus said to both girls with a smile.
“Thanks for giving me my sheet of paper!” He added.
“Bye, sir!”
“You are welcome!” Both girls replied.
“Alright! Fine!” He spoke.
