Splitting Events
Using the Scissors ToolTo split one Event up into more, proceed as follows:
1. Decide if you want the split to happen on a zero crossing or not by checking or unchecking “Snap to Zero” on the Audio menu.
See page 348 for details.
As always, this determines the “smallest” note value where you can apply the split. 3. Select the Scissors tool from the Toolbox.
4. Click on the Event.
The Event is split into two.
Deleting while splitting
To automatically delete the left or right resulting Event, hold down [Alt] or [Ctrl]respectively when you split the original Segment.
Using Snip Loop
This command, on the Do pop-up menu, splits all Events at the positions of the Left and Right Loop position. If you want to split several Events in one place only, set the Loop End point to the same position as the Loop Start.
