Staff Mode

The “Staff Mode” part of the “Staff Settings” dialog.

This setting is used to create different types of staves:

Select This: Single
Split
Polyphonic

When You Want To:
Score a simple “one voice” or chord part.
Score a Piano (or other) keyboard part (see page 114 for details).

Score a complicated part with polyphonic voicing on a single or split staff (see page 128 for details).
