This module has two central objectives. The first is to introduce students to major concepts related to human genetic variation. Homo sapiens comprises a single species, yet the more than 6.9 billion of us alive today, and the millions who preceded us following the emergence of fully modern humans some 150,000 years ago, are a diverse lot.
