Chapter 10: The Long Game

Kirk’s Chevelle pulled up slow, headlights dimmed, the bass from the speakers hummin’ like a heartbeat. He rolled down the window, bottle of Henny in one hand, and a stack of money hanging out his pocket. Thats my nigga, always stay with a bankroll and some good drank.
"When y’all gone come get on this hustle with me and leave this shit alone?" he muttered, shakin’ his head as we hopped in.
I grinned, snatchin’ the bottle while me and Kiesha hopped in. She passed him a funnel cake like a peace offering.
"Here, nigga, quit bein’ grumpy," she teased.
Kirk grabbed it, grinnin’ as he took a bite. "Oooo girl, you know I go crazy for some funnel cake. I love y’all."
I took a swig of the bottle, feelin’ the warmth spread in my chest. "Post up real quick," I said, eyes lockin’ on the exit of the carnival lot.
"Why?" Kirk asked, already soundin’ like he knew he wasn’t gonna like the answer.
I pointed.
At him.
The nigga with the grill.
Dante.
He was leavin’ the carnival, Chinese lady in his arms, laughin’ as he walked her to his car.
I leaned forward. "Let’s follow ‘em."
Kiesha raised a brow. "Nigga, I feel like we undercover agents or some shit."
Me and her laughed. Kirk? Not so much.
"Joe," he sighed. "I already know where this dumb shit goin’."
"Then drive, nigga," I said, kickin’ his seat.
Kirk muttered somethin’ under his breath but put the car in gear, Gang Starr playin’ low as we pulled out behind Dante’s ride.
The drive took us out the hood, just barely, to a quiet-ass neighborhood with nice houses.
Dante pulled up to a driveway, parked, then got out to let the Chinese lady out.
He kissed her, grabbin’ on her ass like she was his prize for the night.
Then he got back in the car and pulled off.
That’s when I sat up.
"Aight, y’all wait here. I got a plan."
Kirk frowned. "Nigga, what plan?"
Then he squinted. "I thought we was followin’ Dante. What this bitch got to do with anything?"
I ignored him, grabbin’ the Henny and steppin’ out.
Behind me, Kiesha smirked, leanin’ back in her seat.
"Just sit back, nigga. Roll up."
I knocked, leanin’ against the doorframe like I was just a lost, drunk fool.
Footsteps.
The door opened.
Lia.
Big-ass T-shirt, panties barely peekin’ out, lookin’ fine as hell but cautious, hair in a cute little ponytail.
I blinked. "Oh—shit. Wrong door."
She didn’t move. Didn’t close the door, either.
Instead, she crossed her arms. "So you just go around knockin’ on random doors?"
I scratched my head, playin’ dumb. "Man, guess I had too much to drink. I’m in the right neighborhood, just wrong house."
I turned to walk off. Just enough to bait her.
She took it.
"Ain’t you the clown nigga from the show?" she asked.
I turned back, grinnin’. "Yeah, you saw my performance?"
She nodded, smirkin’ a little. "It was... unexpected. You’re talented."
I leaned against the doorframe, takin’ a sip of the Henny, lettin’ the liquor warm me up before I spoke. "You ain't from around here, huh?"
She raised an eyebrow. "Why you say that?"
I shrugged, smirkin’. "Naw, Ain't too many folks come to a dusty-ass carnival and actually enjoy themselves."
She laughed, crossin’ her arms. "Maybe I just appreciate good entertainment."
I licked my lips, lettin’ a small pause sit between us, watchin’ her, feelin’ her try to figure me out.
"You got a name?" I asked.
"Lia," she said, tiltin’ her head. "You?"
"You already know," I grinned.
She smirked, leanin’ against the doorframe now too. We was in sync, both of us studyin’ each other, like a slow-ass game of chess.
"So," she finally said. "You just came up to my door drunk, knockin’ at random houses, or is there more to this?"
I exhaled, rubbin’ the back of my neck, playin’ up the drunk, charming nigga role.
"Man, I ain’t even gon’ lie," I chuckled. "Might’ve had too much to drink. Thought I was at my homie’s spot. But since I’m here..." I let my words trail, seein’ if she’d bite.
She raised a brow. "Since you’re here...?"
I smirked. "Wanna sneak peek at my next routine? Won’t take too much of your time—gotta get back to my people so we can turn up."
She hesitated for a second, like she was weighin’ her options.
Then, finally, she stepped back, openin’ the door just enough.
"Sure," she said. "I got nothin’ goin’ on."
Hook.
Line.
Sinker.
I turned back to the Chevelle, throwin’ Kiesha and Kirk a slow, Machiavellian grin before steppin’ inside.
The first thing I noticed? Weed and wraps sittin’ on the table next to a half-drunk cup of tea.
I smirked.
"You smoke?" I asked.
She nodded. "You?"
I plopped onto the couch. "Roll one up."
She sat down, fingers moving with slow, practiced ease.
I poured two shots, handin’ her one before doin’ a quick freestyle clown routine—flips, funny voices, shit that had her gigglin’.
I ain’t expect to actually enjoy myself, but I did.
For a second, I forgot the plan.
For a second, I was just Joe—makin’ a fine-ass woman laugh, drinkin’ and smokin’.
Then she leaned back, smilin’.
"You cool as hell," she admitted. "Glad you got lost tonight."
I grinned, takin’ a sip. "I agree. And you... are fine as hell. Which is why I gotta go before I do somethin’ reckless."
I stood up.
But she grabbed my wrist. "Awww, one more blunt?"
I exhaled, sittin’ back down. "Aight, but I’m rollin’ it. Your hands ain’t coordinated."
She laughed, handin’ me the supplies.
She ain’t notice when I slipped the rock in.
Laced it. Sealed it.
She got up to grab some Kool-Aid from the kitchen.
I lit it before she came back.
The second she took her first hit?
She was gone.
She just ain’t know it yet—but she was already on her way to Niggadise.
I felt bad.
I did.
But I wanted revenge.
And she was the way to Dante.
Lia was mine now.
And she ain’t even know it yet.
One hit in, she was floatin, touchin’ my face like she was seein’ me for the first time.
Then she kissed me—hungry, needy, like somethin’ inside her just snapped loose.
Her lips soft, warm, tastin’ like Henny and weed, hands slidin’ up my chest, fingers tanglin’ in my shirt like she ain’t want no space between us.
Her breath hitched as I grabbed a handful of her thick thighs, pullin’ her onto my lap, ass sittin’ just right in my hands. She let out this little moan, light, shaky, but that shit sent a shock through me.
"Mmm... Joe..." she whispered against my lips, her voice damn near melting into me.
Then she dropped to her knees.
Slow. Lookin’ up at me the whole time, eyes low, pupils big as hell.
She bit her bottom lip, slid her hands over my stomach, down my waistband, pullin’ me free, her nails scrapin’ just a little, teasin’ me, makin’ my whole body tense.
I hissed through my teeth, leanin’ my head back as she kissed the tip first, her tongue flickin’ over it, warm, wet, soft as hell.
Then she opened her mouth wide—and took me in.
"Ohhhhhh..." I groaned, my hand instinctively pushin’ her hair back, watchin’ as she bobbed her head slow, takin’ her time.
"Glck. Glck. Slrp."
She sucked me deep, slurpin’ like it was her last meal, spit runnin’ down her chin, drippin’ onto her tits.
"Damn, girl..." I groaned, smirkin’.
She giggled.
Then she climbed back on top of me, slidin’ her panties to the side, and sank down slow.
"Ahh—fuck, Joe..." she gasped, back archin’ as she took all of me, warm, wet, snug as hell.
I grabbed her hips, holdin’ her still, makin’ her feel every inch before I started guidin’ her movements, liftin’ her up and bringin’ her back down, her ass bouncin’, titties jigglin’, thighs shakin’.
Her moans got louder, messy, uncontrollable, and I felt her clench around me, body tremblin’ as she rode me faster, chasin’ that high, head thrown back, mouth open, completely gone.
"Mmmph!—Ohhh fuck, I—ahh, I can’t—" she whined, diggin’ her nails into my chest.
I flipped her over, pressed her into the couch, ass up, back arched, and slid back in, slow, deep, stretchin’ her out.
"OHHH—f-fuck!" she gasped, shakin’ under me.
I gripped her hips tight, pullin’ her back onto me, strokes gettin’ deeper, harder, faster—her moans turnin’ into screams, skin slappin’, sticky, wet, the sound of us fuckin’ fillin’ the whole room.
"Plap. Plap. Plap."
She grabbed the cushion, bitin’ down on it, legs shakin’ uncontrollably, body convulsin’, and I knew she was right there.
"OHHHHH SHIIIIT!—F-FUCK, JOE!"
Her walls clenched, squeezin’ me tight, that wetness drippin’ down her thighs, leakin’ onto the couch.
That shit sent me over the edge.
I grabbed her ass, slammed deep one last time—then nutted all over her round jiggly ass.
"Ahhh, shit..." I groaned, my whole body tremblin’, ridin’ that wave till it faded into pure exhaustion.
She collapsed onto the couch, legs twitchin’, breath heavy as fuck.
I fell back, head spinnin’, body spent, still buzzin’ from the high.
She barely got out a mumble before she passed out completely.
I sat up, pullin’ on my clothes, watchin’ her sleep, her body still glowin’, chest rising and fallin’ slow.
She was mine now.
She ain’t know it yet.
But she was never gonna be the same.
I grabbed a napkin, wrote my number, and left it on the table.
She was gonna call.
And when she did?....hmm
I stepped outside, still buzzin’, still smellin’ like sex and sin.
The Chevelle was still parked down the block.
And when I got in, Kiesha and Kirk was still there, dead asleep.
That shit shocked me.
They actually waited on me.
I hopped in, slamming the door to wake ‘em up.
Kiesha stretched, eyes half-open. "Damn, nigga. You smell like pussy."
Kirk groaned, rubbin’ his face. "Did you get what you wanted?"
I leaned back, smirkin’. "Somethin’ like that. I’m playin’ the long game, homie."
Kirk eyed me in the rearview. "What you mean?"
I took a deep breath.
"Laced her up. Fucked her good. She gon’ be callin’."
Kiesha blinked. "Nigga, you got her hooked?"
I nodded. "Next step? Get her to flip on Dante."
Kirk let out a low whistle. "That’s some genius, dangerous-ass shit. But why you gotta get her hooked? It’s bad enough you got Kiesha on it."
Before I could say anything, Kiesha spoke up.
"I made my own choice, Kirk."
The car got quiet.
I ain’t say nothin’.
But sittin’ there, staring at Kiesha out the window, I suddenly wasn’t sure no more.
Maybe gettin’ her high wasn’t a good idea after all.
Maybe I was the worst friend ever.
Kirk exhaled, then pulled off.
Dropped Kiesha at her spot.
Then me.
