Be Careful What You Say

In the event that you actually want to change the mind of your partner, there are certain things that you absolutely must not say.

Take Care of Your Mood

On the other hand, if you want to convince your partner or spouse to change their views about something, you must refrain from saying "But I love you..." It is my experience that merely repeating that and emphasizing how much you love them will not be enough to convince them to change their behavior.

In actuality, when you tell your partner, "But I love you..." you are conveying the message that you want them to express themselves in a manner that is unique to you. Not in his or her manner.

It is important to keep in mind that "human beings have a tendency to love themselves as much as they love anything else!" Whenever you tell someone, "I love you...", you are actually showing greater love to yourself. You want your partner to do things that will feel good to your ego, and as a result, you want your partner to do things in the way that you want them to. In addition, your partner is aware of it! In spite of the fact that you tell them, "I love you...", they are not going to change their views so easily.

In the event that you want your partner to carry out specific tasks in accordance with your preferences, you must refrain from saying to them, "But I've done this and this for you..."

Try to avoid bringing up the past in relation to the things that you have done for him or her. There is no longer any trace of the past. Putting an emphasis on how much you have done for your partner will only serve to convince them that they are obligated to do things in accordance with your preferences since that is the price they have to pay for everything that you have assisted them with in the past.

If you continue to say this, your partner will get more and more interested in moving away from you or leaving you altogether. That person will be too terrified to be with you since they are aware that their freedom of movement is limited by the amount of money that they can repay you.

For this reason, you should make every effort to avoid giving them the impression that they are required to pay a charge in order to be with you. The idea of being commanded or restricted by another person is something that no one on this planet enjoys.

Get Paid for Your Opinions!

Avoid using statements like "But it's your duty..." and similar phrases.

Duty or obligations will not be something that your partner enjoys being bound to. Relationships can be governed by rules, depending on the circumstances. In love, there is no condition. You will lose your partner if you allow yourself to become overly stressed out while on duty.

It is highly unlikely that they will want to be in the company of someone who is intent on imposing rules and regulations on them. In light of this, it is your responsibility and duty to ensure that you do not provide your partner with any justification for leaving you for another person.

Consequently, what exactly should you say if you want to change the mindset of your partner in order to get them to carry out tasks in your manner or to see things from your perspective?

To begin, if they see things from your perspective, you should emphasize the positive aspects. Make it clear to them the advantages and benefits that come with carrying out and perceiving things from your perspective. Give them explanations that are direct and concise.

The second thing to keep in mind is that your partner is not concerned with what other people want. The person in question is not concerned about what you want. Rather of focusing on what he or she wants, he or she is more concerned with what he or she might get. Most of the time, they are not against your opinions or whatever it is that you require; rather, they are particularly opposed to the fact that you are ignoring their right to make their own decisions.

Therefore, give them what it is that they want. You should give them the option to choose. Make sure they are aware that they have the ability to select what they want to believe in or what they do not want to believe in with complete freedom. You should also let them know that they have the ability to choose what they want to do and what they do not want to do to themselves.

The magic words that you are able to tell them are "Yes! I understand what you are saying that you are saying." Why don't you give it a shot or actually do it?

"Yes" is the magic word that immediately makes you and your partner feel connected to one another.

The phrase "I comprehend..." implies that you are with your partner, that you are listening to what they have to say, and that you respect the decision that they have made.

The phrase "Why don't you try it / do it..." conveys to the individual that you support their option or choice, despite the fact that you do not agree with it.

When you have a rival, it is important to keep in mind that the person who is able to provide your partner with a greater degree of freedom of choice is most likely the person who your partner desires to be with the most.

It is more probable that you will be successful in changing the thinking of your partner and getting them to carry out tasks in accordance with your preferences if you keep all of the aforementioned principles in mind.
