16.4. Design concept
The idea for transferring the unevenly tensioned coil spring attraction into a uniform movement of a scale time indicating hand is developed using a hydraulic brake having a torque characteristic varying as a linear function. This is based on
the proportioning the force acting on the blade depending on the size h of its immersion in the liquid.
