Title: Auditor of Divine Quantities, Keeper of the Sacred Abacus Affiliation: The Bureau of Theological Metrics, Amsterdam Division.
Appearance: Aurelius wears a robe stitched from rejected sermon notes and discontinued liturgical fonts. His spectacles refract ambiguity. His sacred abacus; known as The Bead of Burdens, is carved from olive wood harvested from disputed parables. Each bead corresponds to a theological unit; Grace, Doubt, Redemption, and the elusive "Unquantifiable."
Function: Aurelius is dispatched whenever a phrase like "100% Jesus" is uttered, printed, or embroidered. He arrives silently, often during communion or karaoke, and begins his audit. With each click of the abacus, he recalibrates the spiritual claim against the Bureau's Codex of Acceptable Ambiguity.
"Faith," he once whispered to a startled bishop, "is not a pie chart."
Rituals of Inspection:
The Bead Test: He slides beads to measure sincerity, metaphor density, and percentage inflation.
The Silence Probe: He listens to the pauses between declarations, weighing their mythic resonance.
