They find a secluded bench in the garden, facing away from the castle.

Susie produces a compact mirror and begins a ritual of "reflective refusal." She gazes not at herself, but at the castle behind her, inverted.

Finn documents the ritual in a notebook titled "Still Life: Gestures That Do Not Annotate."

1:00-2:15 PM: The Non-Lunch

They enter the castle's café but order nothing. Instead, they rearrange the sugar packets into a miniature seating chart of the Old Aristocrats.

A waiter asks if they're waiting for someone. Finn replies, "We're waiting for the collapse of inherited meaning."

Susie leaves a note on the table, but no tip: "This table was not used."

2:15-2:45 PM: The Glossary Rehearsal

Back in their room, they rehearse lines from the sacred glossary. Not to memorize, but to mispronounce.
