4. Algorithmic Retaliation - The Department of Algorithmic Sincerity launched Patch 7.3.1, designed to auto-correct any joke into a motivational quote. Knock-knock jokes now triggered inspirational messages like "Opportunity is always knocking; answer with diligence."
5. The Trial of the Chuckle Conspirators - Susie and Finn were summoned to the Ministry's Court of Emotional Consistency. But the trial collapsed when the judge accidentally snorted during opening statements. The snort echoed through the chamber, triggering a chain reaction of suppressed laughter. The courtroom was evacuated.
6. The Ministry's Final Gambit: The Monument of Solemnity - In a desperate attempt to restore order, the Ministry unveiled a 300 foot statue of a man not laughing. It was called The Sentinel of Seriousness. But within days, pranksters had turned it into a meme, captioned; "When you realize your emotional economy is backed by beige."
The Ministry now teeters on the edge of tonal collapse.
