She raised her hands; not in surrender, but in ritual refusal. And from her palms, ink began to drip. Not black, but archival gray, the color of forgotten truths. She smeared it across the blank dossier, creating a sigil that meant nothing and everything.

The guards did not stop her. They were no longer guards. They were witnesses.

And then she walked backward through the threshold, never turning, never explaining. Her exit was not departure; it was deletion. A sacred unhelpfulness. A final gesture that refused to be indexed.
