Sir Vermin of the Pantry Rebellion - A rodent-sized noble with a monocle and a sash declaring "Unratified." He sits atop a stack of stolen menus and critiques the meal with revolutionary fervor. Susie notes that his tail twitches in Morse code-possibly a manifesto.
The Archivist of Unlit Candles - A silent figure who documents every gesture in invisible ink. Their robes are made of expired library cards. They never eat, but rearrange the salt shakers into constellations of forgotten guests. Finn wonders if they're reconstructing a deleted dinner.
Each guest seems to be performing a ritual of presence, neither fully there nor entirely absent.
The dinner in De Haar's great hall unfolds not as a meal, but as a ritual of encoded gestures, tonal misdirection, and mythic improvisation. Susie and Finn, seated as ritual witnesses, observe the five guests performing their roles with uncanny precision, each interaction a choreography of refusal, echo, and spectral commentary.
