Title: The Bureau of Unhelpful Gestures
In the forgotten wing of the castle, beneath the Hall of Misremembered Oaths, the Bureau of Unhelpful Gestures convenes. Its members include:
Sir Flinchington, who bows only when no one is looking.
Lady Sigh, whose every utterance is a passive-aggressive weather report.
The Archivist, who catalogs interruptions and once declared a sneeze to be "ritually significant."
Finn Portello, who has recently taken up the sacred role of "Emotional Locksmith," unlocking doors based on mood swings.
Their mission? To ensure that every ritual performed in the castle is slightly off. Candles are lit upside down. Toasts are made to forgotten ancestors with imaginary beverages. The chandelier, named Gregory, swings in protest whenever someone tries to be sincere.
One day, a mysterious figure arrives; The Annotator, armed with footnotes and a dangerous desire to clarify. The Bureau panics. If meaning is restored, their entire purpose collapses. They
