public. "You never know what kind of chaos that could unleash," he muttered, as he filed the man's toothbrush preferences under "Level 3 Threat."
Meanwhile, in the suburbs, a woman named Lila had begun a secret rebellion. She hosted underground "Truth Potlucks," where people whispered their favorite ice cream flavors and confessed to liking pineapple on pizza. The gatherings were cathartic, dangerous, and deeply confusing.
The climax came when Gerald himself stumbled upon a Truth Potluck disguised as a stamp collecting club. He was offered a deviled egg and asked, "Do you prefer crunchy or smooth peanut butter?"
Gerald froze. He had never been asked directly. He had never even considered it. The question echoed in his soul.
"..... Crunchy," he whispered.
The room gasped. A child wept. Somewhere, a fax machine exploded.
And just like that, the Ministry began to crumble; not from revolution, but from the sheer weight of its own absurdity.
