4 - The Survivalists at the Perimeter
The Survivalists have gone through many changes and additions. Groups with different names arose at differing times in response to differing perceived threats; to ultimately have joined together under one banner. What is most clear is that they have ties with the US and Israeli shadow government, facilitated through the inclusion of a plethora of FBI, CIA, and Mossad operatives. Their vetting standards for inscription have never been one of their strong points, and now that process has been taken over by the intelligence agencies. They have been deployed to the edges of the Zone; their surface common denominator being to keep people out, while if one gets the least bit below the surface that freezes quicker than a 1960’s sci-fi writer’s water, and their belief that the Zone is some sort of deity or some sort of devil. Whatever, like a bad acid trip, it is something they see as being detrimental to their interests for the people to see/experience.

A Brief History of the Survivalists
Survivalism is a social movement of individuals or groups, sometimes called survivalists, doomsday preppers or preppers, who proactively prepare for emergencies, such as natural disasters, and other disasters causing disruption to social order; that is, civil disorder, caused by political or economic crises. Preparations may anticipate short-term scenarios or long-term, on scales ranging from personal adversity, to local disruption of services, to international or global catastrophe. There is no bright line dividing general emergency preparedness from prepping in the form of survivalism. These concepts are a spectrum, but a qualitative distinction is often recognized whereby preppers/survivalists prepare especially extensively because they have higher estimations of the risk of catastrophes happening. Nonetheless, prepping can be as limited as preparing for a personal emergency such as losing one's job, storm damage to one's home, or getting lost in wooded terrain, or it can be as extensive as a personal identity or collective identity with a devoted anti-government lifestyle.
Survivalism emphasizes self-reliance, competence with arms, stockpiling supplies, and gaining survival knowledge and skills. The stockpiling of supplies is itself a wide spectrum, from survival kits; ready bags, bug-out bags, to entire bunkers in extreme cases.

Survivalists often acquire first aid and emergency medical/paramedic/field medicine training, self-defense training; martial arts, ad hoc weaponry, firearm safety, and improvisation/self-sufficiency training, and they often build structures; survival retreats, underground shelters, etc., or modify/fortify existing structures that may help them survive a catastrophic failure of society.
1930s to 1950s
The origins of the modern survivalist movement in the United States stem from government policies, especially those which unfairly protect and reward the constantly increasing number of non-Whites at White expense, the threats of nuclear warfare, religious beliefs, and writers who warned of social or economic collapse in both non-fiction and apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic fiction.

The Cold War era civil defense programs promoted public atomic bomb shelters, personal fallout shelters, and training for children, such as the “Duck and Cover” films.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints has long directed its members to store a year's worth of food for themselves and their families in preparation for such possibilities, and the current teaching advises beginning with at least a three month supply.
The Great Depression that followed the Wall Street Crash of 1929 is cited by survivalists as an example of the need to be prepared.

1960s
The increased inflation rate in the 1960s, the US monetary devaluation, the continued concern over a possible nuclear exchange between the US and the Soviet Union, the official, federal, Democrat pandering to criminal, feral negroes and their cockroach spread, and perceived increasing vulnerability of urban centers to supply shortages and other systems failures caused a number of primarily conservative and libertarian thinkers to promote individual preparations. Harry Browne began offering seminars on how to survive a monetary collapse in 1967, with Don Stephens, an architect, providing input on how to build and equip a remote survival retreat. He gave a copy of his original “Retreater's Bibliography” to each seminar participant.
Articles on the subject appeared in small distribution libertarian publications such as “The Innovator” and “Atlantis Quarterly.” It was during this period that Robert D. Kephart began publishing “Inflation Survival Letter,” later renamed “Personal Finance.” For several years the newsletter included a continuing section on personal preparedness written by Stephens. It promoted expensive seminars around the US on similar cautionary topics. Stephens participated, along with James McKeever and other defensive investing, "hard money" advocates.
1970s
It’s single largest catalyst, though that is difficult to measure, the Survivalist ranks exploded when Whites finally became aware of the virtually non-existent main stream media coverage of the "Zebra" murders, which were a string of racially motivated murders and related attacks committed by a group of four black serial killers in San Francisco, California, from October 1973 to April 1974. The Survivalists aware were propelled to take some initiative. The four blacks were known to have killed at least fifteen White people and wounded eight others; but the number of White shootings were more likely to have been in excess of seventy-three. The murders were execution style shootings that took place mostly at night along the city’s Divisadero Street corridor. The gunmen were exclusively African American who vocally expressed Black Nationalist views and the victims were exclusively innocently unaware Whites. Police gave the case the name "Zebra" after the special police radio band they assigned to the investigation.
Some authorities believe that the “Death Angels,” as the perpetrators called themselves, may have killed seventy-three or more White victims since 1970. Criminology professor Anthony Walsh wrote in a 2005 article that the Zebra murderers "may have killed more people in the early to mid-1970s than all the other serial killers operating during that period combined."
The cops, despite their special radio band, never caught any of them. In 1974, a worker at the warehouse where the Zebra murderers were based testified to police for a reward, providing private details about the killings. Based on his evidence, four men were arrested in connection with the case. Evidence related to the killings revealed a common pattern. In the hit and run shootings, the gunman would walk up to his victim, shoot the victim repeatedly at close range, and flee on foot. Another link among the shootings was the killers' preference for a .32 caliber pistol, based on the slugs recovered from the victims and the shell casings found at the crime scenes.
The four blacks were convicted in a jury trial of first degree murder and conspiracy charges and sentenced to life imprisonment. They all died in jail. The informant received immunity from prosecution for his testimony, and he, along with his family, was admitted to a witness protection program.
The murders caused widespread panic in San Francisco. The city suffered losses in revenue by a dramatic drop in tourist traffic; many hotel, nightclub, restaurant, and theater owners reported a decline in business. Streets were deserted at night, even in North Beach, a neighborhood with seven night a week nightlife.
A stop-and-search program was instituted on April 17, 1974, following the shooting of Nelson Shields. The next day, a grid of six police combat zones were set up in the city of San Francisco, and more than 150 officers were deployed into the area. Each officer carried a composite sketch of the suspect, prepared by Homicide Inspector Hobart Nelson, based on the descriptions given by the many witnesses he interviewed. During the searches, field interrogation cards were filled out when officers deemed further questioning necessary. Recorded on the cards were the individuals' names, ages, addresses, and drivers license and social security numbers. Those cards were turned over to homicide detectives, and ultimately kept on file at the Hall of Justice.
To add crime supporting insult to injury, vocal and widespread criticism from the black community emerged immediately following the start of the program. Black Panther party leader Bobby Seale described the program as "vicious and racist." The general counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union, Paul Halvonik, stated that the measures taken by San Francisco Mayor Alioto and police "are totally unprecedented (as if random black murders of innocent Whites was also totally unprecedented)in their scope and clearly indefensible in view of the Constitution." The Officers for Justice group, led by Nation of Islam associate Jesse Byrd, described the policy as "racist and unproductive,” obviously correct in the latter judgement.
A week after the program began, Cinque, the black leader of the Symbionese Liberation Army, said; "If we look closely, we begin to see the truth that Operation Zebra is a planned enemy offensive against the enemy to commit a race war," insofar as that may make sense to anyone, also claiming that it was a means to get "black males to submit to FBI classification and identification."
In response to the public backlash about the program, Mayor Alioto compared the interrogations to that of the Zodiac murders, in which hundreds of White people were also stopped, and defended the searches as constitutional.
Two lawsuits were filed; one by the NAACP, asking that stop-and-search tactic be declared unconstitutional, and another by the ACLU, on behalf of six young black men, asking that the searches be stopped. Nathaniel Colley, an attorney for the NAACP, told the judge, "By admission, the police are engaged in a wholesale violation of every black male's rights if he happens to be what they think fits the description of the Zebra killers."
When the general public finally found out about the White murders by the black “Death Angels,” a number of plausible theories about other places; including Brooklyn, Chicago, and Detroit, where Whites were routinely and randomly murdered by blacks came to fruition. The authorities never confirmed this, but didn’t dispel it either. These events led to the largest increase in Survivalist membership ever. And who could blame them?

On lesser notes, in that decade Howard Ruff warned about socio-economic collapse in his 1974 book “Famine and Survival in America.” Ruff's book was published during a period of rampant inflation in the wake of the 1973 oil crisis. Most of the elements of survivalism can be found there, including advice on food storage. The book championed the claim that precious metals, such as gold and silver, have an intrinsic worth that makes them more usable in the event of a socio-economic collapse than fiat currency. Ruff later published milder variations of the same themes, such as “How to Prosper During the Coming Bad Years,” a best seller in 1979.
Firearms instructor and survivalist Colonel Jeff Cooper wrote on hardening retreats against small arms fire. In an article titled "Notes on Tactical Residential Architecture" in Issue #30 of “P.S. Letter;” April 1982, Cooper suggested using the "Vauban Principle," whereby projecting bastion corners would prevent black and brown miscreants, like the 1967 Newark, New Jersey rioters, from being able to approach a retreat's exterior walls in any blind spots.

Depending on the size of the group needing shelter, design elements of traditional European castle architecture, and Chinese Fujian Tulou, and Mexican walled courtyard houses, have been suggested for survival retreats.
Bruce D. Clayton and Joel Skousen have both written extensively on integrating fallout shelters into retreat homes, but they put less emphasis on ballistic protection and exterior perimeter security than Cooper and Rawles.
Other newsletters and books followed in the wake of Ruff's first publication. In 1975, Kurt Saxon began publishing a monthly tabloid size newsletter called “The Survivor,” which combined Saxon's editorials with reprints of 19th century and early 20th century writings on various pioneer skills and old technologies. Kurt Saxon used the term survivalist to describe the movement, and he claims to have coined the term.
In the previous decade, preparedness consultant, survival book seller, and California based author Don Stephens popularized the term retreater to describe those in the movement, referring to preparations to leave cities for remote havens or survival retreats should society break down. In 1976, before moving to the Inland Northwest, he and his wife authored and published “The Survivor's Primer and Updated Retreater's Bibliography.”
For a time in the 1970s, the terms survivalist and retreater were used interchangeably. While the term retreater eventually fell into disuse, many who subscribed to it saw retreating as the more rational approach to conflict avoidance and remote "invisibility," away from the invading black hoard. Survivalism, on the other hand, tended to take on a more media sensationalized, combative, "shoot-it-out-with-the-looters" image.

All in all, it really didn’t matter, as each were just differently depicted manifestations of the same evil. The retards who like to get bogged down in the irrelevant details are not worth talking to; waste of time. Hey, it’s not right to condemn an entire group just because 95% of them have proven themselves to be dangerous detriments to polite White society.
One newsletter deemed by some to be one of the most important on survivalism and survivalist retreats in the 1970s was the “Personal Survival,” "P.S.", letter; circa 1977–1982, published by Mel Tappan, who also authored the books “Survival Guns” and “Tappan on Survival.” The newsletter included columns from Tappan himself and notable survivalists such as Jeff Cooper, Al J Venter, Bruce D Clayton, Nancy Mack Tappan, JB Wood - author of several gunsmithing books, Karl Hess, Janet Groene - travel author, Dean Ing, Reginald Bretnor, and CG Cobb - author of “Bad Times Primer.” The majority of the newsletter revolved around selecting, constructing, and logistically equipping survival retreats. Following Tappan's death in 1980, Karl Hess took over publishing the newsletter, eventually renaming it “Survival Tomorrow.”
In 1980, John Pugsley published the book “The Alpha Strategy.” It was on The New York Times Best Seller list for nine weeks in 1981. After 28 years in circulation, “The Alpha Strategy” remains popular with survivalists, and is considered a standard reference on stocking food and household supplies as a hedge against inflation, coons, and future shortages.
In addition to hardcopy newsletters, in the 1970s survivalists established their first online presence with BBS and Usenet forums dedicated to survivalism and survival retreats.
1980s
Further interest in the survivalist movement peaked in the early 1980s, with Howard Ruff's book “How to Prosper During the Coming Bad Years” and the publication in 1980 of “Life After Doomsday” by Bruce D. Clayton. Clayton's book, coinciding with a renewed arms race between the United States and Soviet Union, marked a shift in emphasis in preparations made by survivalists away from economic collapse, negro infestation, famine, and energy shortages; which were greater concerns in the 1970s crime spike, to nuclear war. In the early 1980s, science fiction writer Jerry Pournelle was an editor and columnist for “Survive,” a survivalist magazine, and was influential in the survivalist movement. Ragnar Benson's 1982 book “Live Off the Land in the City and Country” suggested rural survival retreats as both a preparedness measure and conscious lifestyle change.
1990s
Interest in the movement picked up during the Clinton administration due in part to the debate surrounding the Federal Assault Weapons Ban and the ban's subsequent passage in 1994. The interest peaked again in 1999 triggered by fears of the Y2K computer bug. Before extensive efforts were made to rewrite computer programming code to mitigate the effects, some writers such as Gary North, Ed Yourdon, James Howard Kunstler, and investments' advisor Ed Yardeni anticipated widespread power outages, food and gasoline shortages, and other emergencies. North and others raised the alarm because they thought Y2K code fixes were not being made quickly enough. While a range of authors responded to this wave of concern, two of the most survival focused texts to emerge were “Boston on Y2K” (1998) by Kenneth W. Royce, and Mike Oehler's “The Hippy Survival Guide to Y2K.” Oehler is an underground living advocate, who also authored “The $50 and Up Underground House Book,” which has long been popular in survivalist circles.
2000s
Another wave of survivalism began after the September 11, 2001, attacks and subsequent bombings in Bali, Madrid, and London. This resurgence of interest in survivalism appears to be as strong as the 1970s era focus on the topic. The fear of war, a heightened level of White replacement, avian influenza, energy shortages, environmental disasters, and global climate change, coupled with economic uncertainty and the apparent vulnerability of humanity after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami and Hurricane Katrina, served to increase interest in survivalism topics.

Many books were published in the wake of the Great Recession from 2008 and later offering survival advice for various potential disasters, ranging from an energy shortage and crash to nuclear or biological terrorism. In addition, reprints of the 1970s era books, blogs and internet forums were popular ways of disseminating survivalism information. Online survival websites and blogs discuss survival vehicles, survival retreats, emerging threats, and a list survivalist groups.
In both his book “Rawles on Retreats and Relocation” and in his survivalist novel, “Patriots: A Novel of Survival in the Coming Collapse,” James Wesley Rawles describes in great detail retreat groups "upgrading" brick or other masonry houses to that of a security compound with steel reinforced window shutters and doors, excavating anti-vehicular ditches, installing gate locks, constructing concertina wire obstacles and fougasses, and setting up listening/observation posts. Rawles is a proponent of including a mantrap foyer at survival retreats, an architectural element that he calls a "crushroom.”
Economic troubles emerging from the credit collapse triggered by the 2007 US subprime mortgage lending crisis and global grain shortages prompted a wider cross section of the populace to prepare.
The advent of H1N1 Swine Flu in 2009 piqued interest in survivalism, significantly boosting sales of preparedness books and making survivalism more mainstream.
2010s
Television shows such as the “National Geographic Channel's” “Doomsday Preppers” emerged to capitalize on what “Los Angeles Times” entertainment contributor Mary McNamara dubbed "today's zeitgeist of fear of a world changing event."
After the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the "prepper" community worried they would face public scrutiny after it was revealed the perpetrator's mother was a Survivalist. Earlier that year, a double homicide was committed by Survivalist Peter Keller, who admitted to killing his wife and daughter in a video diary. He killed himself while evading capture in a bunker he built in Rattlesnake Ridge in King County, Washington. Both were cited by “The Christian Science Monitor” as examples of Survivalism being tied to violence.
2020s
During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern by the “World Health Organization” in early 2020, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine; 2022–present, survivalism has received renewed interest, even by those who are not traditionally considered preppers.
Outline of scenarios and outlooks
Survivalism is approached by its adherents in different ways, depending on their circumstances, mindsets, and particular concerns for the future. The following are characterizations, although most, if not all, Survivalists fit into more than one category.
The safety-preparedness-oriented
While some Survivalists believe in long-term viability of Western civilization, they learn principles and techniques needed for surviving life threatening situations that can occur at any time and place. They prepare for such calamities that could result in physical harm or require immediate attention or defense from threats. These disasters could be biotic or abiotic, tolerated negro “generally peaceful” riots and looting; a “fringe” event in an increasingly marginal environment. Survivalists combat disasters by attempting to prevent and mitigate damage caused by these factors.
Wilderness survival emphasis
This group stresses being able to stay alive for indefinite periods in life threatening wilderness scenarios, including plane crashes, shipwrecks, and being lost in the woods. Concerns are thirst, hunger, climate, terrain, health, stress, and fear. The rule of 3 is often emphasized as common practice for wilderness survival. The rule states that a human can survive: 3 minutes without air, 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, and 3 weeks without food.
The self-defense driven
This group focuses on surviving brief encounters of violent activity, like those Whites deadly encounters with feral blacks, including personal protection and its legal ramifications, danger awareness, John Boyd's cycle; also known as the OODA loop—observe, orient, decide and act, combatives, martial arts, unarmed combat, Melee weapons, self-defense tactics and tools; both lethal and non-lethal. These survivalist tactics are often firearm oriented, in order to ensure a method of defense against armed black attackers or armed black home invasion.
Natural disaster, brief
This group consists of people who live in tornado, hurricane, flood, wildfire, earthquake or heavy snowfall prone areas and want to be prepared for possible emergencies. They invest in material for fortifying structures and tools for rebuilding and constructing temporary shelters. While assuming the long-term continuity of society, some may have invested in a custom built shelter, food, water, medicine, and enough supplies to get by until contact with the rest of the world resumes following a natural emergency.
Natural disaster, prolonged
This group is concerned with weather cycles of 2–10 years, which have happened historically and can cause crop failures. They might stock several tons of food per family member and have a heavy duty greenhouse with canned non-hybrid seeds.
Natural disaster, indefinite/multi-generational
This group considers an end to society as it exists today under possible scenarios including global warming, global cooling, environmental degradation, warming or cooling of gulf stream waters, or a period of severely cold winters caused by a super volcano, an asteroid strike, or nuclear warfare.
Bio-chem scenario
This group is concerned with the spread of fatal diseases, biological agents, and nerve gases, including COVID-19, swine flu, E. coli, botulism, dengue fever, Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, SARS, rabies, Hantavirus, anthrax, plague, cholera, HIV, ebola, Marburg virus, Lassa virus, sarin, and VX, brought to the US by uncontrolled immigration. In response, they might own full face respirators, polyethylene coveralls, PVC boots, nitrile gloves, plastic sheeting, and the always useful duct tape.
Monetary disaster investors
Monetary disaster investors believe the Federal Reserve system is fundamentally flawed. Newsletters suggest hard assets of gold and silver bullion, coins, and other precious metal oriented investments such as mining shares. Survivalists prepare for paper money to become worthless through hyperinflation. Restarting in late 2009 this is a popular scenario. Many will stockpile bullion in preparation for a market crash that would destroy the value of global currencies.
Biblical eschatologist
These individuals study End Times prophecy and believe that one of various scenarios might occur in their lifetime. While some Christians, and even people of other religions, believe that the Rapture will follow a period of Tribulation, others believe that the Rapture is imminent and will precede the Tribulation; "Pre-Trib Rapture." There is a wide range of beliefs and attitudes in this group. They run the gamut from pacifist to armed camp, and from having no food stockpiles, leaving their sustenance up to God's providence, to storing decades' worth of food. Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are counseled to store up to two years' worth of food and supplies to aid in the event of a natural disaster or long term economic hardship, such as unemployment.
Peak oil doomers
This group believes that peak oil is a near term threat to Western civilization, and take appropriate measures, usually involving relocation to an agriculturally self-sufficient survival retreat.
Legal continuity oriented
This group has a primary concern with maintaining some form of legal system and social cohesion after a breakdown in the technical infrastructure of society. They are interested in works like “The Postman” by David Brin, Lewis Dartnell's “The Knowledge: How to Rebuild Our World from Scratch,” or Marcus B. Hatfield's “The American Common Law: The Customary Law of the American Nation.”
Common preparations - A Red Cross "ready to go" preparedness kit
Common preparations include the creation of a clandestine or defensible retreat, haven, or bug out location in addition to the stockpiling of non-perishable food, water; i.e. using water canisters, water purification equipment, clothing, seed, firewood, defensive and/or hunting weapons, ammunition, agricultural equipment, and medical supplies. Some Survivalists do not make such extensive preparations, and simply incorporate a "Be Prepared" outlook into their everyday life.
A bag of gear, often referred to as a "bug out bag" or "get out of dodge" kit, can be created which contains basic necessities and useful items. It can be of any size, weighing as much as the user is able to carry.
Changing concerns and preparations
Survivalists' concerns and preparations have changed over the years. During the 1970s, the leading fears were violent black infestation, economic collapse, hyperinflation, and famine. Preparations included food storage and survival retreats in the country which could be farmed. Some Survivalists stockpiled precious metals and barterable goods; such as common caliber ammunition, because they assumed that paper currency would become worthless. During the early 1980s, nuclear war again became a common fear, aping the 1950’s, and some Survivalists constructed fallout shelters.
In 1999, many people purchased electric generators, water purifiers, and several months or even years worth of food in anticipation of widespread power outages because of the Y2K computer bug. Between 2013 and 2019, many people purchased those same items in anticipation of widespread chaos following the 2016 US election and the events leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Instead of moving or making such preparations at home, many people also make plans to remain in their current locations until an actual breakdown occurs, when they will; in Survivalist parlance, "bug out" or "get out of Dodge" to a safer location.
Religious beliefs
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, ride forth as a group, with an angel heralding them, to bring Death, Famine, War and Conquest unto man.
Other Survivalists have more specialized concerns, often related to an adherence to apocalyptic religious beliefs.
Some evangelical Christians hold to an interpretation of Bible prophecy known as the post-tribulation rapture, in which the world will have to go through a seven year period of war and global dictatorship known as the "Great Tribulation." Parallels are drawn from US and Christians from other western nations being vilified by their governments which favor atheism, Judaism and Islam, their churches being burned, and even being put on the government’s FBI terrorist list merely for their practice of Christianity. Jim McKeever helped popularize survival preparations among this branch of evangelical Christians with his 1978 book “Christians Will Go Through the Tribulation, and How to Prepare for It.”
Similarly, some Catholics are preppers, based on Marian apparitions which speak of a great chastisement of humanity by God, particularly those associated with Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady of Akita, which states "fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity."
Mainstream emergency preparations
If Christians are not mainstream enough for you, people who are not part of Survivalist groups or apolitically oriented religious groups also make preparations for emergencies. This can include, depending on the location, preparing for black attack, earthquakes, floods, power outages, blizzards, avalanches, wildfires, terrorist attacks, nuclear power plant accidents, hazardous material spills, tornadoes, and hurricanes.
Race War Advocates
Sometimes called “The Mansonites,” these Whites call for having the inevitable race war now, while Whites are still the majority and have more arms in the US and western world. Due to the governments’ “White Replacement” policies, which are eroding this at an accelerating rate, these Survivalists are getting more agitated, and consider Charlie Manson to be a prophet. A growing tentacle of this organization is primarily interested in ending the Islam invasion, thus far curtailing its efforts at protesting and demanding the lawmakers to pass laws which make Sharia law illegal in the US. Their largely ignored efforts, outside of Texas, has prompted them to become more radical; by bombing mosques.
Let this be cut here, with some distance yet to go; as one can easily see that the Survivalist group is quite large, and have dropped out without any advice from Timothy Leary; though his ghost seems overwhelming. And if one cannot see that, there is no point in further talking to them. Better living through chemistry.

It's been a long time comin'
It's goin' to be a long time gone
And it appears to be a long
Appears to be a long
Appears to be a long
Time, yes, a long, long, long, long time
Before the dawn
Turn, turn any corner
Hear, you must hear what the people say
You know there's something it's going on around here
It surely, surely, surely won't stand the light of day, no
And it appears to be a long (yes, it does)
Appears to be a long (mmm)
Appears to be a long
Time, such a long, long time
Before the dawn
Speak out, you got to speak out against the madness
You got to speak your mind, if you dare
But don't, no, don't, no, try to get yourself elected
If you do, you had better cut your hair, mmm
And it appears to be a long (yes, it does)
Appears to be a long (mmm)
Appears to be a long

Before the dawn, yeah
It's been a (long) long (time) time (comin') comin'

Appears to be a long
Appears to be a long time, such a long, long, long, long time

Breaking News – May 2026
Southern Poverty Law Center says
it faces DOJ probe over paid informants

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a storied organization founded by those large of nose to promote racial “justice” in the South, said it is facing a Justice Department investigation including possible criminal charges over its past use of paid informants to infiltrate “extremist” groups.
The civil rights organization revealed the probe in a video message from its CEO, Bryan Fair, who said prosecutors appeared to be preparing legal action against some of its employees. How he would know that is further suggestive of his paid informants’ infiltration of the US Department of Justice.
“Although we don’t know all the details, the focus appears to be on the SPLC’s prior use of paid confidential informants to gather credible intelligence on extremely violent groups,” Fair said, adding later; “We will not be intimidated into silence or contrition.”
A spokesperson for the organization declined to comment on what led it to conclude it was being investigated. The Justice Department did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
While the catalyst for the investigation is unclear, such a probe follows conservative driven congressional inquiries into the SPLC and demands that the Trump administration investigate funding for groups supporting the infiltrating commie left.
More broadly, the department, under President Donald Trump, has launched probes of several people and organizations viewed as politically unfriendly to the White population of the US. That has included groups such as ActBlue, the Democrats’ main fundraising platform, as well as outspoken critics from his first administration and law firms that represented Trump’s political adversaries.
A person familiar with the SPLC investigation said it is being led by federal prosecutors in the Montgomery based Middle District of Alabama. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the ongoing investigation.
The SPLC, a 55 year old nonprofit, which receives the majority of its funding from the US government, was founded in Montgomery with the goal of ensuring that the civil rights law passed by Congress in 1964 and enshrined by the courts would become a reality on the ground. It is known for its efforts to monitor and take legal action against opposing White supremacist groups, with or without merit, as encouraged by the unelected, first trial line of judges appointed during democrat regimes.
The organization in recent years has become a frequent target for Trump and his allies in Congress, who accuse it of unfairly labeling right leaning groups as violent extremist organizations. That line of criticism reached its peak following the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk last year. The SPLC had identified the organization he led, “Turning Point USA,” as an epitome of the “hard right” in its 2024 report on hate and extremist groups During a sober period, FBI Director Kash Patel announced in October that the bureau was severing ties with the organization, which had long worked with agents to identify and provide tips on domestic extremist groups.
In his statement Tuesday, Fair admittedly said the SPLC began paying informants to infiltrate those organizations as a means to protect its staff. In 1983, the organization’s headquarters was firebombed, and it has received multiple credible threats in the years since, he said; though conveniently leaving out the part that 43 years have passed with no actual incidents noted.
“When we began working with informants, we were living in the shadow of the height of the civil rights movement, which had seen bombings at churches, state sponsored violence against demonstrators and the murders of activists that went unanswered by the justice system,” Fair said. “Today, the federal government has been weaponized to dismantle the rights of our most vulnerable people and any organization like ours that tries to stand in the breach.”

Sweet Home Alabama
Lynyrd Skynyrd
One, two, three
Turn it up
Big wheels keep on turnin'
Carry me home to see my kin
Singin' songs about the Southland
I miss Alabamy once again,
and I think it's a sin, yes
Well, I heard Mr. Young sing about her (a Southern man)
Well, I heard ol' Neil put her down
Well, I hope Neil Young will remember
A Southern man don't need him around, anyhow
Sweet home, Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home, Alabama
Lord, I'm comin' home to you
In Birmingham, they loved the governor,
boo, boo, boo!
Now we all did what we could do
Now Watergate does not bother me
Does your conscience bother you? Tell the truth
Sweet home, Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home, Alabama (oh, yeah)
Lord, I'm comin' home to you
Here I come, Alabama
(Ah, ah, ah, Alabama)
(Ah, ah, ah, Alabama)
(Ah, ah, ah, Alabama)
(Ah, ah, ah, Alabama)
Now Muscle Shoals has got the Swampers
And they've been known to pick a song or two
(yes, they do)
Lord, they get me off so much
They pick me up when I'm feelin' blue,
now, how 'bout you?
Sweet home, Alabama
Where the skies are so blue
Sweet home, Alabama
Lord, I'm comin' home to you
Sweet home, Alabama, oh, sweet home, baby
Where the skies are so blue and the governor's true
Sweet home, Alabama, Lordy
Lord, I'm comin' home to you, yeah, yeah-yeah

FBI’s Patel and civil rights activist rip SPLC after DOJ alleges group funded the 'villains' they claimed to fight
Kash Patel: This is the ultimate definition of hypocrisy.
New DOJ allegations against the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) drew sharp criticism from FBI Director Kash Patel and civil rights activist Bob Woodson, who said the case appeared to show the group that claims to fight extremism was instead helping fuel it.
In an exclusive interview on "Hannity" Wednesday, Patel called the case the "ultimate definition of hypocrisy."
"The Southern Poverty Law Center ran a methodical, calculated scheme to defraud their donor base of $3 million and lied to them and used an illicit banking structure system to create shell companies to hide their money and who it was being sent to, specifically for the reason to sow discord and hate into our society."
He contended that the indictment against the SPLC claims the organization funded at least eight hate groups that it supposedly wanted to eliminate.
DOJ SAYS SOUTHERN POVERTY LAW CENTER FUNNELED $3M+ TO WHITE SUPREMACIST AND EXTREMIST GROUPS LIKE THE KKK
"They were paying the very villains of our society they supposedly want to protect us from," he said.
Woodson, founder of the Woodson Center, a nonprofit seeking to empower community leaders to reduce crime and revitalize underserved communities, said Wednesday on "The Will Cain Show" that charges against the SPLC were "just the tip of the iceberg."

People who claim to fight for civil rights can become corrupt when "they ask which problems are fundable, not which ones are solvable," Woodson continued.
He said so called civil rights organizations' emphasis on grievances and greed is "much more insidious than what you're witnessing here," asserting that the biggest challenge to low income communities is not race relations, but rather "the disintegration of these communities as a consequence of the neglect of those who are supposed to be in charge."
SPLC SAW REVENUE SURGE AFTER CHARLOTTESVILLE RALLY
AS DOJ ALLEGES INFORMANT TIES
"The greatest suppressor, for instance, of the votes in these communities is not voter ID. It's apathy. Less than 10% of low-income blacks in these high crime areas around the country even come out to vote because they don't believe that the people who are in office represent them," Woodson said.
DOJ charges against Southern Poverty Law Center are “tip of the iceberg,” the activist argues.
Bob Woodson is founder and president of the Woodson Center
Patel and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche announced a sweeping indictment Tuesday against the SPLC, accusing the far left nonprofit of fraudulently paying more than $3 million in donations to at least eight individuals associated with violent extremist groups, including the Ku Klux Klan, United Klans of America, the Nationalist Socialist Movement, Unite the Right, Aryan Nations affiliated Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club and more.
SPLC's CEO Bryan Fair was unavailable for comment, apparently occupied with lawyering up and covering up.

Being For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite!
The Beatles
For the benefit of Mr. Kite
There will be a show tonight on trampoline
The Hendersons will all be there
Late of Pablo Fanques Fair, what a scene!
Over men and horses hoops and garters
Lastly through a hogshead of real fire!
In this way Mr. K. will challenge the world!
The celebrated Mr. Kite
Performs his feat on Saturday at Bishopsgate
The Hendersons will dance and sing
As Mr. Kite flies through the ring, don't be late!
Messrs. K and H assure the public
Their production will be second to none
And of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz!
The band begins a ten to six
When Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound
And Mr. H will demonstrate
Ten summersets he'll undertake on solid ground
Having been some days in preparation
A splendid time is guaranteed for all
And tonight Mr. Kite is topping the bill!

Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
The Beatles
Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she's gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Ah, ah
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
That grow so incredibly high
Newspaper taxis appear on the shore
Waiting to take you away
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds
And you're gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Ah, ah
Picture yourself on a train in a station
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile
The girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Ah, ah
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Ah, ah
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Lucy in the sky with diamonds

My Back Pages
The Byrds
Crimson flames tied through my years
Flowing high and mighty trapped
Countless fire and flaming roads
Using ideas as my maps
"We'll meet on edges, soon," said I
Proud 'neath heated brow
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now
Half-wracked prejudice leaped forth
"Rip down all hate," I screamed
Lies that life is black and white
Spoke from my skull, I dreamed
Romantic flanks of musketeers
Foundationed deep, somehow
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now
In a soldier's stance, I aimed my hand
At the mongrel dogs who teach
Fearing not, I'd become my enemy
In the instant that I preach
Sisters fled by confusion boats
Mutiny from stern to bow
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now
My guard stood hard when abstract threats
Too noble to neglect
Deceived me into thinking
I had something to protect
Good and bad, I define these terms
Quite clear, no doubt, somehow
Ah, but I was so much older then
I'm younger than that now

Revolution 1
The Beatles
Right, take two
Okay
You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We don’t want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We don’t wanna change the world
When you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out?
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We all doing what we can
If you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is, brother, you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We'd all love to change your head
(ah, shoo-be-do-wop)
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free your mind instead
(ah, shoo-be-do-wop)
If you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
Don't you know it's gonna be alright?
(Oh, shoo-be-do-wop)
All, all, all, all (ah, shoo-be-do-wop)
All, all, all, alright (ah, shoo-be-do-wop)
Alright, alright (ah, shoo-be-do-wop)
Alright, alright (ah, shoo-be-do-wop)
Alright, alright (ah, shoo-be-do-wop)

White Room
Cream
In a white room with black curtains
in the station
Black roof country, no gold pavements,
tired starlings
Silver horses ran down moonbeams
in your dark eyes
Dawn light smiles on you leaving,
my contentment
I'll wait in this place,
where the sun never shines
Wait in this place,
where the shadows run from themselves
You said no strings could secure you
at the station
Platform ticket, restless diesels,
goodbye windows
I walked into, such a sad time,
at the station
As I walked out, felt my own need,
just beginning
I'll wait in the queue
when the train cars come back
Lie with you
where the shadows run from themselves
At the party,
she was kindness in the hard crowd
Consolation for the old wound
now forgotten
Yellow tigers crouched in jungles
in her dark eyes
Now gets morning,
goodbye windows, tired starlings
I'll sleep in this place
with the lonely crowd
Lie in the dark,
where the shadows run from themselves

Strawberry Fields Forever
The Beatles
Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see
It's getting hard to be someone
But it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me
Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
No one I think is in my tree
I mean, it must be high or low
That is, you can't, you know, tune in
But it's alright
That is, I think it's not too bad
Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
Always, no sometimes, think it's me
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree
Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
Strawberry Fields forever
Strawberry Fields forever

Tales of Brave Ulysses
Cream
You thought the leaden winter
Would bring you down forever
But you rode upon a steamer
To the violence of the sun
And the colors of the sea
Bind your eyes with trembling mermaids
And you touch the distant beaches
With tales of brave Ulysses
How his naked ears were tortured
By the sirens sweetly singing
For the sparkling waves are calling you
To kiss their white laced lips
And you see a girl's white body
Dancing through the turquoise
And her footprints make you follow
Where the sky loves the sea
And when your fingers find her
She drowns you in her body
Carving deep blue ripples
In the tissues of your mind
Tiny purple fishes
Run laughing through your fingers
And you want to take her with you
To the hard land of the winter
Her name is Aphrodite
And she rides a crimson shell
And you know you cannot leave her
For you touched the distant sands
With tales of brave Ulysses
How his naked ears were tortured
By the sirens sweetly singing
Tiny purple fishes
Run laughing through your fingers
And you want to take her with you
To the hard land of the winter

Deserted Cities of the Heart
Cream
Upon this street where time has died
The golden treat you never tried
In times of old, in days gone by
If I could catch your dancing eye
It was on the way
On the road to dreams, yeah
Now my heart's drowned in no love streams, yeah
The street is cold, its trees are gone
The story's told the dark has won
Once we set sail to catch a star
We had to fail, it was too far
It was on the way
On the road to dreams, yeah
Now my heart's drowned in no love streams
I felt the wind shout like a drum
You said, "My friend, love's end has come"
It couldn't last, had to stop
You drained it all to the last drop
It was on the way
On the road to dreams, yeah
Now my heart's drowned in no love streams
Now my heart's drowned in no love streams, yeah
On this dark street, the sun is black
The winter life is coming back
On this dark street, it's cold inside
There's no retreat from time that's died
It was on the way
On the road to dreams
Now my heart's drowned in no love streams
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Now my heart's drowned in no love streams, yeah
Now my heart's drowned in no love

Those Were the Days
Cream
When the city of Atlantis
Stood serene above the sea
Long time before our time
When the world was free
Those were the days
Golden cymbals flying
On ocarina sounds
Before wild Medusa's serpents
Gave birth to hell
Disguised as heaven
Those were the days (Yes, they were)
Those were the days
Those were their ways
Miracles everywhere-where are they now?
They're gone
Those were their ways (Yes, they were)
Those were their ways
Those were the days (Yes, they were)
Those were the days
Tie your painted shoes and dance
Blue daylight in your hair
Overhead a noiseless eagle
Fans a flame
Wonder everywhere
Those were the days (Yes, they were)
Those were the days
Those were their ways
Miracles everywhere-where are they now?
They're gone
Those were their ways (Yes, they were)
Those were their ways
Those were the days (Yes, they were)
Those were the days

A Day in the Life
The Beatles
I read the news today, oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well, I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure If he was from the House of Lords
I saw a film today, oh boy
The English army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
But I just had to look
Having read the book
I'd love to turn you on
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve
Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up I noticed I was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
And somebody spoke and I went into a dream
I read the news today, oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
I'd love to turn you on
Five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve

As You Said
Cream
Let's go down to where it's clean
To see the time that might have been.
The tides have carried off the beach.
As you said,
The sun is out of reach.
Let's go back to where it's clean
To see what year it might have been.
The roads have carried off the smiles.
As you said,
To judge them at the trials.
So let's go back to now that's bad
To see the time we might have had.
The rails have carried off the trains.
As you said,
I'll never come again, again, again, again.

Sunshine of Your Love
Cream
It's getting near dawn
When lights close their tired eyes
I'll soon be with you, my love
Give you my dawn surprise
I'll be with you, darling, soon
I'll be with you when the stars start falling
I've been waiting so long
To be where I'm going
In the sunshine of your love
I'm with you, my love
The light's shining through on you
Yes, I'm with you, my love
It's the morning and just we two
I'll stay with you, darling, now
I'll stay with you 'til my seas are dried up
I've been waiting so long
To be where I'm going
In the sunshine of your love
I'm with you, my love
The light's shining through on you
Yes, I'm with you, my love
It's the morning and just we two
I'll stay with you, darling, now
I'll stay with you 'til my seas are dried up
