STARLIGHT UNBOUND

“Then we give them direction.”

Corin arched a brow. “And how do you plan to do that? We don’t exactly have a megaphone big enough to reach the whole city.”

Lucien ’s eyes remained locked on the map. The system is cracking. But what fills the space when it finally breaks?

She glanced at him, reading the shift in his expression. “You’re thinking something. Spill it.”

Lucien hesitated then stepped forward, tapping a red marker near the upper districts. “We don’t need a megaphone.” His voice steadied, the edges of an idea sharpening. “We already have one.”

Her eyes narrowed. “What are you talking about?”

But staying long enough to do anything meaningful?” He shook his head. “That’s another.”

Lucien nodded. “We don’t need to touch the stars. The grid is just a projection. If we breach the control room, I can rewrite the protocols. We don’t have to destroy anything—just replace it.”

Harun leaned back, skeptical. “Replace it with what? Some graffiti and a few inspirational quotes?”

Lyra ’s shoulders squared, but it was Jaris who answered. “It doesn’t have to be subtle. It has to be undeniable.” He stepped forward, nodding toward the map. “If we override their messaging with something bold enough, it’ll strengthen the seed of doubt. It will show the Order isn’t in control. That’s all
