The sound of waves in motion
As they break against this tower
Is more potent than love potion
And more peaceful than its power
The smell of all the open sea
Reminds me I am here
It whispers I alone am free
To walk on water far and near
The sight of it - but my quill fails
My words will never do
A thousand wrinkled, satin trails
An endlessness of blue
And in my heart but one hope sails
