- So if I understand correctly, Miss Milly, I am to track Lizzy and kill her, right? Roman was asking to make sure he had heard her right as he knew that Lizzy was the king's sorceress and Gabriela's daughter, the greatest sorceress that ever was.

- Exactly! But you will have to make it look like an accident again. The king mustn’t suspect anything! He can’t have the magic water! His reign should be over soon. I am not going to kill him or have him killed, but when his natural time comes… well, he should go, right? And then I will rule. Me, hear that? And you will be my right arm man. You will be well paid, always. Because I am sure I will need your services. Not only to kill for me, but to protect me. To warn me of any dangers and conspiracies. Do your job well and your reward will be just.

- When do you want me to leave? He asked starting to like his new

- Yesterday!, but as that is impossible, now would be a good time too!- I will need money for the mission. I will have to eat and sleep and so will my horse. Or I might even need to buy a new horse at every inn and start with a freshly rested one each morning.

- Ok, ok, here, and she handed him a small bag which he took in a hurry. He put it on his palm as if to weigh it and then a grin appeared on his slips which meant that he was content with the contents. He bowed and left to find his target, Lizzy.

In a couple of days he found her tracks. Then he realized that she had company. He investigated further and so Roman found out that Lizzy was accompanied by a young man, a villager, not some trained mercenary or anything. So he wouldn’t be a problem. He would just have to deal with both of them. Two for the price of one.
