Timmy, feeling a bit nervous but excited, nodded. "We'd like to
try our luck at the gambling tables," he said, his voice filled
with determination.
Rick's eyes twinkled with amusement, but he quickly masked it
with a look of respect. "Of course, right this way," he said,
leading them to a back room with a private table where a high
stakes poker game was about to begin.
Stevie and Timmy took their seats, and Rick made sure they were
well taken care of. He discreetly signaled to the dealer to let
them win, hoping to stay on their good side. As the game
progressed, Stevie and Timmy found themselves winning hand after
hand, their pile of chips growing larger and larger.
The other players at the table, unaware of Rick's plan, were
impressed by Stevie and Timmy's apparent skill. They
congratulated them on their success, and Timmy couldn't help but
feel a sense of pride and excitement.
As the night went on, Rick continued to keep a watchful eye on
Stevie and Timmy, making sure they were enjoying themselves. He
even arranged for the pianist, Sam, to play their favorite song,
"As Time Goes By," adding to the magical atmosphere of the
evening.
