Stevie Investigates the Liquor Cabinet
Once upon a time, in a cozy little house nestled at the edge of
the woods, lived a curious tabby kitten named Stevie. Stevie had
soft, striped fur and the brightest brown eyes that sparkled
with wonder. Every so often, observant Stevie would watch his
best friend Timmy’s parents feeling very good and engagingly
silly after going to the liquor cabinet and drinking some of
whatever was there. He was compelled to do the same.
Stevie stood on his hind legs, and with his front paws clicked
the door handle, and the cabinet opened like a Pandora’s box.
Somehow he removed a cap, and poured the liquid into his water
dish, and drank.
Stevie started feeling wobbly, but good. He had the sense to
retrace his steps and put things back where they originally
were, before he forgot to.
He then returned to drinking from his dish.
Visions of delightful nonsense descended on Stevie’s
increasingly immobile body.
