they met other children who had been recruited by Fagin. The
hideout was filled with stolen goods, and the atmosphere was
tense and secretive.
As the days went by, Stevie and Timmy realized that they didn't
want to be part of Fagin's gang. The mean spirited members
didn’t look or act rich, and their opportunistic attitudes
forced Stevie and Timmy to always be on their guard. No fun.
They missed their carefree days of exploring the city and having
a good time. They decided to escape and find a way back to their
vacation.
One evening, as Fagin and his gang were planning their next
heist, Stevie and Timmy saw their chance. They quietly slipped
out of the hideout and made their way through the dark, winding
streets of London. But their escape was not easy. Fagin had
connections with the local police, and they were soon being
pursued by both the gang and the complicit cops.
Stevie and Timmy knew they had to use their wits to outsmart
their pursuers. They ducked into narrow alleyways, climbed over
fences, and hid in the shadows. Stevie's keen senses and Timmy's
quick thinking helped them stay one step ahead of their
pursuers.
