to join their fun. "Hello, Stevie!" one of the gingerbread men

called out. "Come join us in our dance!"

Stevie, being a curious and playful kitten, eagerly accepted

their invitation. Actually Stevie hesitated for an imperceptible

fraction of a second, but the gingerbread men looked so friendly

and inviting. He trotted over and soon found himself twirling

and leaping with his new friends. The gingerbread men taught

Stevie their special dance moves, and he quickly became the star

of the show.

As they danced, the gingerbread men sang a merry tune:

"We're the gingerbread men,

so sweet and so fun,

Dancing and singing until the day is done.

With Stevie the kitten,

our new friend so dear,

We'll spread joy and laughter,

bringing holiday cheer!"

Stevie felt a warm glow in his heart. He had never felt so happy

and carefree. The gingerbread men showed him how to build

gingerbread houses, decorate cookies, and even make snow angels

in the powdered sugar snow.

He chased the gingerbread men around, pouncing and tumbling in

the frosting covered grass. The gingerbread men laughed and

cheered, delighted by Stevie's playful antics.
