Stevie listened intently, his eyes wide with wonder. Then, his
dad, a strong and wise tabby with a deep, comforting voice,
stepped forward. "Stevie, my brave little one, I have a story
too," he said.
"Before you were born, your mom and I traveled far and wide. One
day, we stumbled upon an old, abandoned house. Inside, we
discovered a treasure trove of forgotten toys and cozy blankets.
We made it our home for a while, and it was there that we
learned the true meaning of family. We knew that no matter where
we went, as long as we were together, we were home."
"Remember, Stevie," his mom whispered, "we are always with you,
in your heart and in your dreams."
They spent the day playing and sharing stories, just like they
used to. Stevie felt a deep sense of happiness and belonging. As
the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the meadow,
Stevie knew it was time to go back.
"Will I see you again?" Stevie asked, his eyes filled with
tears.
