bow, her eyes twinkling as if she knew Stevie was there. The
lights slowly came back on, and the crowd began to disperse.
Stevie lingered for a moment, savoring the last notes of the
music. He knew this was a dream, but it felt so real, so
wonderful. With a contented sigh, he turned and made his way
back through the city, the memory of the concert warming his
heart.
When Stevie woke up the next morning, he stretched and yawned,
feeling a sense of happiness and fulfillment. He padded over to
Timmy, who was just putting on a Laura Nyro record. As the music
filled the room, Stevie curled up next to the speakers, purring
softly. He knew that dreams could come true, even for a little
tabby kitten like him.
