ABOUT THIS NOVEL

This novel is an updated 2025 edition of the original edition which was first published in 2012 on Free-Ebooks.net. This science-fiction novel is an update to the third installment in a series depicting the adventures through time of Nancy Laplante, a female Canadian war correspondent from the year 2012 and Chief of Operations of the Time Patrol, an organization created in 3384 ‘A’. Those novels were written prior to the fictionalized events of the 21st Century depicted in them, and thus should be treated as novels about alternate realities. The year in the dates shown in the headings are followed by the letters ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’, denoting in which timeline the action is happening. Timeline ‘A’ is the original historical timeline, while Timeline ‘B’ is a parallel alternate timeline created accidentally by Nancy Laplante when she was transported against her will from 2012 to the year 1940 and changed history by her actions. Timeline ‘C’ is a second parallel alternate history which split from 1941 ‘B’ when enemies of Nancy tried to kill her with the goal of changing history in their favor. In this new 2025 edition, the chapters concerning the action involving Ingrid Weiss-Dows ‘C’ and which were

in the 2012 version have been deleted and now appear in the new series about the updated alternate story of Ingrid Weiss-Dows ‘C’. This 2025 edition thus deals nearly exclusively with actions happening in Timeline ‘A’ and Timeline ‘B’.
