16 AN ULTRA VIOLENT FAIRY TALE
Glitterbelle looked at the young woman and could smell her pheromones, and deemed her not a threat.
The fairy was silent as she watched the woman fix herself.
“Thank you. You’re a fairy.”
It wasn’t a question, Glitterbelle was quiet still.
“Well uh...where I’m from we help people when we can and thank them when they help us.”
Glitterbelle remained silent but her emotions had cooled. Her wings still fluttered but only because the air was crisp and felt good on them.
“You hungry? I had a bag of food but that was for my pig, Fat Man, I know, dumb name but I suck with names. Oh, well Fat Man can go without that stuff, he’ll never starve. I’m Denise but my friends call me Kickswitch cause I know stuff about computers and electronics.”
“Glitterbelle.” said the fairy as her stomach roared with hunger.
“My village is right down the road, come on I know you’re starving. Nobody should be so hungry they have to eat another person to survive.”
“I don’t mind eating people.” she responded.
“Well, have some chicken instead. I’ll even cook it for you and serve wine if you like.” she said, picking up her flashlight.
The road they walked was a small one, but it branched off onto a little bit of a bigger road with electric streetlamps on tall poles made of iron and black in color.
“I’ve never seen a gun before,” she said as they walked, noticing the shotgun and holstered revolver. “I can’t fight all that well and I can’t make weapons. Not good ones anyway.”
“What can you make?” the fairy asked.
