26 AN ULTRA VIOLENT FAIRY TALE
“Luke, Luke Wheeler, the one whose brother Eric runs the Crow’s Nest, eh.”
“I’d be surprised if it were anyone else, sir.” said Rance confidently.
“Yeah, Luke would be stupid enough to fuck a fairy. He as horny as his older brother is smart.”
Paradine laughed, the terror he felt a moment earlier was gone. He knew fairies were a jealous, vengeful creature and only a fool or a suicidal person would ever fuck one. Sleeping with a fairy was by and large worse than sleeping with a diseased prostitute or gigolo, you could treat venereal disease.
A fairy, one that you’ve been with, the only treatment to rid yourself of that is death.
“God damn, captain this is very good news indeed. That winged psycho bitch is going to come running for Luke and will kill everybody standing in her way.”
“I heard Luke was a big deal though, sir.”
“He might be a lady’s man but he’s a pussy. He’s gonna run and hide if he finds out his old girlfriend just busted out.”
“Shit. We’re fucked if we don’t find him right away then, sir.” said Rance.
“No worries, captain. The only place he has to hide is behind his brother.”
The speakeasy was a club with everything The Order said was against the law, music, gambling, drugs, alcohol, video games, sex, a place where unnaturals and regular people could go and not worry about The Order. Eric had run the club since time out of mind and his little brother used his name and privileged status to do whatever he liked and whoever he liked, even if the other person wanted to or not.
Supposedly Eric kept guns there in his club as well, in this part of the dark lands sometimes The Order looked the other way. In pursuit of a fairy though, there was a chance The Lady might say fuck it and send in a dragon to wipe out Crow’s Nest, hell maybe even all of Neon City where the club resided. If they had guns then that would be a problem but one that could be handled without a dragon and might even be beneficial if Glitterbelle was currently packing heat.
