“Oh, it's bunny leg tea,” She answered.

“Bunny leg?” I wondered more about it.

The Queen made some kind of movement with her arms and suddenly a crystal jar appeared in front of me. Inside there was the leg of a rabbit which seemed to be torn from a poor real bunny earlier in the day. Even the blood was stil coming out of it and mixing with the herbals that made up the complete tea.

“Ew” I said spontaneously, moving away from it. It made me want to vomit.

“We are demons my dear, what did you expect?” asked the Cat.

The Queen seemed offended by my reaction. “Are you underestimating my tea?”

I could not help myself with the sight of it and knowing I had some of it in my stomach. I could not do anything about it. I vomited on the ground next to the Queen.

“I find this offensive!” She screamed into the air. As I cleaned my mouth, the guards changed their position and turned the point of their spears towards me.

“No one says my tea is disgusting!” She kept saying, offended.

“I didn't say that!” I said defending myself.

“And above everything you cal me a liar!” She said “I demand a trial, my tea is delicious, it has been in my family for eons!”

The labyrinth around us turned into a big room where multiple deck cards were sitting in benches around me, so tal I needed to lift my face up to see them. They were accusing me with their fingers and shouting every sort of damnation. Cat kept floating by my side and Queen was lifted by a podium where she stood as the judge of the trial. Then the worm I hadn’t seen since yesterday upon my arrival, manifested by the queen’s side, stil smoking its pipe, elegantly. Bet that pipe is eternal

“I had a few minutes to study the case in which Alyd is accused,” He said, reading what seems like a complete dossier about me. “The accusations are as fol ows” He said, waiting a moment before speaking again. Public mumbling faded out and everyone’s attention was on him.

Suddenly i found out i was handcuffed and my military uniform now was a black and white clothes like the ones prisoners use. Also my hair, which was loose now, was in a ponytail.

“You are accused of making the queen feel bad about her tea, you words have inflicted her heart like a dagger and where there once was pride and dignity now only a void of self-hatred lies.” Everyone in the room screamed and even some of them threw rabbit legs at me. Worm continued: “Tea time is sacred in our lands and you shal not intervene with it, for the punishment would be tearing your arms and legs off along with your eyes and making tea with them, for our beloved queen to drink it and her feelings go back to how they once were.” Al of 94

the room exploded in cheering and celebrations as my heart raced in horror for something to say.

“Yes, I think that’s fair,” Said the Queen.

Said that, two snakes appeared. One by my right and the other to my left. Each snake had two heads. Each face took me by my arms and legs. Then the worm came close to me with a spoon and said: “Let’s start with the eyes” I screamed in horror as I watched the spoon approach my right eye.

“I’m sorry!” I screamed in horror. “I take it back, i take it back, the tea is delicious!”

“Oh, you take it back?” Asked Queen.

“Yes! Yes I do, I take it back, it was delicious, I don't know what I was thinking!”

There was a brief awkward silence about it.

“Wel you should have said that earlier my dear, this is enough for me i feel like myself again, we can proceed to have fun as we were having”

The room exploded with applause and cheers again and the snakes released me and their skin turned pink. Bal oons and confetti fel from the sky, the room turned itself into a nightclub with a dancing floor in the center where al the cards started dancing and drinking. Queen approached me with Cat.

“My dear i’m glad you took back your comment but i must admit your arms and legs would have made a delicious tea.” I did not know what to respond to so i didn’t say anything. “You must leave now, things wil turn ugly from now on. Parties and drinking wil make the cards go wild and they wil kil you for fun if you stay.”

“What? Why?” I asked “I have been here for two days and played games with them”

“They are not cute deck cards, dear, your heart sees them that way but they are ruthless demons, I know why destiny led you here and your mission it’s done. So please go for i cannot hold them anymore for their true desire is to rip apart an innocent heart and when that happens i wil also fal into their manners and devour you by their side, then we wil make an orgy with the remains of your blood and body” “Why don’t you just give up on your primitive desires and eat me now? I asked

“There are divine rules, divine laws and above everything the natural divine flow of life. I do not wish to do that right now but i wil wish to do it in some moments from now. You are warned, for if you stay and it happens, you wil be the only one to blame.” Deck cards were starting to develop a hostile attitude overal and claws along with hair were starting to develop in them.
