“Wel ,” i said “I am dreaming”

“Oh, I see,” she said. She stood silent as a little angel with no mAlyd inside her with her big eyes opened not looking directly at anything.

“What about you?” I asked “What are you doing in this … blank space?”

“My friend kil ed me” she said “He says there was nothing left for me in real life and brought me here to be happier”

Alright …

“And are you?” I asked

“I don't know,” she said in a happy smile that had no ending.

“We have no time to lose” I heard a very deep voice, not sure if it came from inside my head.

“Get ready,” Alyd said. “You wil meet God”

The flat screens with my dreams faded away and Blue City showed up in front of me. Block by block, the scenery fel into place until the cityscape was complete. Then it came to life.

“What is this?” i asked

“It is your home as it is right now as you sleep” Answered the voice. “Pay attention”

“Oh, so you real y ain’t dead” I heard Alyd say.

There was mom, my apartment building, and the neighbors. The city was alive tonight.

Suddenly it al ran backwards in time. At first, slow but then faster and faster. People and cars went in reverse, days and nights went fast. I saw climate change fast. Rain, snow, sunny days.

Faster and faster. the city started changing, flying buildings disappeared and the city skyline went shorter and shorter, hovercrafts disappeared, the wal disappeared. only old road cars started appearing. The ones only people outside the wal s use. No droids. No fairy creatures in sight. Time went on normal again in what seems like an old dystopian version of my hometown.

Stadium remained where it is. Road Cars with wheels and weird shapes, very narrow two lane streets and very short buildings. How many people lived back then?

“Pay attention,” The voice said.

Then, the military appeared. Old metal ic and ugly cars with big cannons fol owed by soldiers with wooden weapons. No horses, no drones, no droids. They al sang in unison. Same world, but a different version of it. NO flags in the buildings were changed for a different insignia but with the same black and red colors. This is an old war I have never heard about.

Nazis …

Voice spoke again. “This is where everything went wrong with your world, evil powers surged from these ideologies and never left. Demons summoned on these times roamed the earth until 64

they succeeded again. The NO ideology evolved from this. You are one of the brave warriors to stand against them.”

“But i am not a warrior” I said

“Your sole presence fights evil” He said, “You don’t have to do anything but fulfil your heart, that’s how devil is fighted”

“You stil have hope, I failed” Alyd said. “Darkness is making a big win”

“Now take a deep breath, for I wil show you your enemy” Voice said.

World fasted forwarded in time until today again. City grew back.

“When you wake up tonight, you wil face the apocalypse” He said.

I could see my home apartment building in which I lay asleep.

In the back, a gigantic black smoke approached from the mountains into the night. From the smoke emerged a light trail, what seemed to me as a rocket, reaching above the city and exploding into a blinding blue light. Shines up like the sun and whole city lights go off block by block. Drones fel to the ground, Droids in the streets fel to their deaths. Hovercrafts and Flying buildings came down destroying everything underneath them and kil ing everyone inside them.

Panic dominates the scene as hel breaks loose.

Loud growls come from inside the darkness that surrounds the city. Large creatures with yel ow eyes emerged. Dragons. Gigantic gothic wings, large tails. Brodel sent dragons to destroy our city. Our soldiers fire at them without any chance. Without guided rockets, dragons would dominate the scene. Their fire destroys our city, darkness surrounds everything. I can hear the devil’s laugh coming from the dark cloud. But above, after the blue explosion dissipates in the sky i saw something i have never seen before. A complete pink new moon depicts by herself, shining into a new chapter of hope. Never saw the moon in one piece, completely round and clean as my grandmother and old legends say it was before.

“What do I have to do with this?” I asked

“No one knows Alyd, fol ow your heart as soon as you wake up, that’s the only hint i can give you” God said.

“Sometimes God can only hope for humans to succeed,” He said.

“Goodbye Alyd,” said Alyd.

I felt like my soul was sucked back into my body.
