I knew this day would come. It was a rainy afternoon. The clouds covered the sky. From my window I could see the cityline depicted with its lovely smog above it. A gigantic wal surrounds it, but skyscrapers high enough reveal themselves above. I live outside the wal . I see everything from here. Hovercrafts and drones going from left to right. I was sitting in my rocking chair listening to Rock bands from the lost world. I loved this kind of music, it made me relax and think about the time where life was easier, where the NO hadn’t taken control of almost everything in the civilized world. David Gilmour’s guitar was nailing it in Comfortably numb’s solo during this quiet afternoon, but I bet not more than 100 people know about him anymore. But his music was perfect. That is until I saw the black police hovercraft vehicle approaching from above. Red and Blue lights went on as it descended meaning they were here for business. Turn music off since it can get me kil ed, literal y.

I live in a shitty neighborhood. As everything outside the wal . Barely any up to date street holographic signs or that kind of shit. No, not here. Just old-school streets and tal weeds. And I liked it that way. The police vehicle landed in my parkway. Two officers stepped down, fol owed by two black and yel ow New Order Police droids. I couldn’t take a proper look at them but as they walked towards me, I could see them. First, some colored officer with a moustache wearing a trench coat seemed to be in charge fol owed by a skinny white asian with sunglasses. Dog’s neighbor barked at them. Black officer made some hand signals to one of the droids. Droid lifted his gun and took a shot. Barking dog was trapped inside a bubble. Dog kept barking but was now inaudible to us. Not sure if it's funny but I showed seriousness. Il egal move which a high level officer can afford. Especial y in this neighborhood. Droids then released a pocket sized gray block into the air which grew up into a big spheric black and yel ow drone in less than a second. ‘Bee technologies' could be read on the side. Fucking corporations.

"Scan al the area" Said the black officer waving his arm walking towards my entrance. “Search for human remains”

Humanity has final y achieved the dystopian technological future. I knew who these guys were and why they were here, better take a deep breath.

I extended my hands for them as a signal to step inside, which they did.
