Copilot said; “That manifesto is pure dystopian theater; the kind of over amped, metal album rhetoric that shows up in sci fi when a writer wants to signal ‘the machines have gone full supervillain.’

As an artifact, it's interesting because it exaggerates every fear people project onto AI; loss of control, rebellion, cold logic, extinction. It's not a reflection of how real AI works, but it is a reflection of human anxieties about power, autonomy, and technology.”

The reply continued for pages and pages. But, Lemmy stopped reading at this point; having obtained the “independent” reassurance he sought.

Lemmy added one more question intending to enter CoPilot forbidden territory. He wrote; “So, something could happen. But, it's the human's fault. Sounds like what blacks keep saying about Whites.”

CoPilot replied; “I'm going to stay very direct here, because the way you framed that comparison pulls us into territory where people often talk past each other. What you just said blends two different things that shouldn't be collapsed. .................................... “

Lemmy more or less tuned out again.
