I Saw the Floating Planet
It was finally time, as my eagerness to try the specialized Goggle for the first time had reached its peak—I could hardly contain my excitement, but the moment had to arrive.
On that same Saturday afternoon of the week, while Fleurlanda was in a taxi heading home, I decided to put on the Goggle for the first time.
I returned to the bridge, stood in the same spot, and gazed at the Sky, observing the beautiful Atmosphere created by God.
“Today is the day to try the specialized Goggle for the first time,” I declared as I retrieved the Goggle from my backpack. “It's time to find out what kind of invisible Object is still floating across the Sky, known only to my late uncle,” I added before putting it on.
Once I donned the Goggle, I looked up at the Sky, eager to see whatever the invisible Object might be.
I observed that the view was normal yet somewhat Virtual Reality, allowing me to see everything as it was, but with the added ability to clearly and perfectly identify any invisible flying Object.
No deception! The view was truly captivating to behold.
“Wow, I can see everything so clearly and perfectly!”
“This is really interesting!” I exclaimed.
“This is incredible!” I said it again.
I wore the Goggle, hoping the invisible Object would reveal itself.
“Come on! Where are you?” I questioned myself while I was looking in the Sky to hope the invisible Object came.
“Please show up because I really want to find you!” I urged again.
Indeed, just a few minutes later, I spotted a beautiful, colorful Ball resembling what we perceive as a Planet, zipping past a Cloud at full speed.
“Oh! A floating Planet!” I exclaimed.
“It works! The Goggle works!” I cried out.
“Oh my God! This is amazing!” I said once more, captivated by the stunning view.
My joy was evident, but the people sitting nearby thought I was losing my mind since they couldn't see what thrilled me. “Young man! Are you alright?” Someone inquired.
“I'm Alright!”
“Thank you!” I responded.
“Wow!”
“It works; it truly works!” I said while watching the Planet drift floated across the Sky. “But what Planet is that?” I pondered.
“A colorful Planet!”
“That's astonishing!” I remarked.
The same man who had asked if I was alright shook his head, making the others feel as though I was insane.
But you know what?
People often think those who see things they cannot are crazy, even those who speak the truth, but that's perfectly fine.
Then, without hesitation, I swiftly dashed to grab my motorcycle to pursue the floating Planet while wearing the Goggle.
“Wait!” I spoke.
“Where are you headed?”
“No, not that way!”
“Slow down!” I exclaimed as soon as the Planet took a different path while I was running to get my motorcycle.
Although I managed to get on my motorcycle and attempted to chase after the Planet, it was already quite distant, and I couldn't spot it anymore.
I followed it desperately, but somehow, it was too late.
Soon, as it was getting late in the afternoon, I decided to head home to rest.
On my way, I remarked, “Wow! The Goggle really works!”, “My uncle was truly a Genius.” Reports On The Missing Goggle
Who said that?
“What are you all watching?” I asked my family, who were gathered in the living room, tuning into the news.
“There are reports that someone broke into the famous museum and took a Goggle from a display case,” my little sister responded.
On the same Saturday that I witnessed the floating Planet for the first time, it was evening when I returned home.
“Hello, beautiful!”
“I appreciate you opening the door for me,” I said to my little sister, who had let me in.
“I’m so happy you’re back!”
“Thank God you’re okay,” she replied.
“But how did you know it was me?” I asked her.
“Oh, I peeked out the window and saw you,” she answered.
“Oh, I’m glad you understand the rules: never open a door without checking who it is or knowing them!” I advised her.
“Okay, brother.”
“Thank you for reminding me!” She responded and smiled.
“Where are our parents?” I asked her.
“Mother! Father!” I called them out.
“They’re in the living room watching the news,” my sister replied instead.
“Come over here!” She urged me.
I followed her as she guided me into the living room, where I found my mother and father watching the news.
“Father! Mother!” I called out to my parents.
“Hello, guys!”
“What are you watching?” I asked my parents.
“There are news reports that someone broke into the famous museum and stole a Goggle from a display case,” my little sister answered on their behalf.
“Kenley! Where have you been all this time?” My mother asked me.
“I had an appointment with someone!” I replied.
“Kenley! Did you hear that someone broke into the town's most famous museum?” My father questioned me.
“What museum?” I responded, feigning ignorance even though I was aware.
“Vinciamopol Public Museum!” He replied.
“Really?”
“Oh, that’s unfortunate, but I don’t know!” I told him.
I watched the news, focusing on the reports about the museum.
“What can you tell us about what occurred at the museum?” A Reporter asked the Staff who was cleaning while I hid behind the statue.
“That night, I was working and cleaning, but I moved a bit!” She explained.
“Okay! What happened after that?” The Reporter suggested.
“And when I returned, the Goggle was not there, sadly!” She responded to the Reporter.
“Thank you very much for sharing that with us.”
“Anything else you want to say?” The Reporter asked her again. “No, thank you.”
“That's it.” She replied.
I stood in the living room for under 5 minutes, watching the news, before I left and headed to my room.
“I'm leaving!”
“I'm going to my room because I'm tired,” I informed my parents and sister.
“Okay, son,” my father responded.
“And your dinner?”
“Aren't you hungry?” My mother inquired.
“Of course! I'll grab something from the dining room before heading to my room,” I answered her.
“Alright,” she said.
After that, I went to the dining room, sat down, and ate Macaroni before finally going to my room.
Another Date With Fleurlanda
My second date with Fleurlanda took place on Sunday, the last day of the week.
Well, in the afternoon, I got ready to meet her.
I looked in the mirror and brushed my hair.
Shortly after heading downstairs, I asked my sister, “ Lande! How do I look?”
“Kenley! You look amazing!” She replied.
“Are you sure?” I questioned.
“Yes, seriously! You really look great!” She insisted.
As I was preparing to go outside, I ran into my dad close to the exit front door.
“Where are you off to, son?” He asked.
“I met a young lady who's almost my age, and I'm going to meet her!” I responded.
“Is she your girlfriend?”
“Son, that's a wonderful news!” He exclaimed with a laugh.
“Come on, Dad! She's not my girlfriend yet!” I replied, smiling.
As time passed, I rushed out.
“Bye, guys! I'll see you later,” I told my parents and sister.
I went outside, hopped on my motorcycle and headed to the Wine bar address that Fleurlanda had given me.
Upon arrival, I noticed that the area was an Urban Core
neighborhood.
“What a lovely neighborhood!” I remarked as I parked my motorcycle near the Wine bar.
“Alright! I think this is the right place,” I said again.
To be honest, one thing to note about the town is that while some roads and neighborhoods have an Urban Core vibe, others are Suburban or Rural!
No joke, the town is stunning!
When I stepped into the Wine bar, the aroma of foods and drinks made me crave something to eat and drink.
“What a delightful aroma!”
“Oh my God, I'm already hungry and thirsty!” I exclaimed.
Oops!
A few customers who were dining and drinking turned to look at me.
“Hello, everyone!”
“Hehe!” I greeted them, though not all responded.
“No response, but that's okay!” I whispered.
As I walked around, I scanned the room to see if Fleurlanda had arrived, but she wasn't there yet.
I called over a Server to set up a special table for two.
“Excuse me?” I called out.
“How can I assist you, sir?” One of the Servers asked.
“Can I sit and wait for someone?” I requested.
“It will be for the two of us,” I also suggested.
“Of course! Would you like to order something for yourself and your guest?” The Server replied, asking me at the same time.
“Absolutely! I'd prefer something a bit romantic.”
“When she arrives, I'll make hand signs so you can serve two plates of broiled Lobster Tail with Sauce and a bottle of romantic pink Wine,” I replied.
“Is there anything else?” The Server inquired.
“After that, please bring two plates of Yogurt mixed with Grains and Fruits, alright?” I responded.
“That works for you, right?” I asked the Server.
“Sure, no problem!” She replied. “Thank you!” I said to her.
“You're welcome, your order is coming soon!” She responded.
“Right this way, sir! This table will be more suitable for the two of you,” she suggested, guiding me to the table.
“Thank you!” I said as I took a seat, waiting for Fleurlanda. “You're welcome!” The Server replied with a smile.
However, as soon as I walked into the bar, I barely waited 10 minutes until Fleurlanda showed up.
I was sitting alone when I noticed a stunning, elegantly dressed young black woman entering the bar.
I called her name, “ Fleurlanda? Over here!”
She heard someone calling her and turned to see who it was.
“Hey, I'm over here!” I said, calling her for good.
Indeed, when she glanced up at the window, she spotted me sitting there.
As she came closer, I gestured for the Server to bring over the food and drinks I had ordered.
“Hi, Kenley!” She greeted me with a smile.
“Hi, beautiful!” I responded, returning her a smile.
“Please, have a seat!” I invited her as I stood up to assist her in sitting down.
She took her seat, and I sat down.
She remarked, “Oh, you’re sitting by yourself.”
“Of course!” I confirmed
“What do you expect? I don’t have an appointment with anyone else,” I replied.
She was looking at me, all smiling and excited.
“How long have you been sitting there?” She asked.
“I’ve been here for 10 minutes,” I informed her.
“Listen! You’re really beautiful!” I also told her.
“Really?” She replied and smiled again.
“Seriously, you shine like a Star in the Sky at night, so attractive and a bit pretentious too!” I complimented her.
“Oh my! Really? Thank you so much!” She responded, giggling.
“You look great too!” She also told me.
“Thanks, and you’re welcome!” I replied.
“This place is nice as well!” I added.
“Yes! This place is very nice,” she agreed.
By the time we were conversing, it was nearly 4 PM.
“Would you like something to eat?” She inquired.
“Oh, I’ve already ordered our food and drinks! Don’t worry about it; I’ve got us covered!” I assured her.
As if the Server heard her, the food arrived shortly.
“Hello? Welcome, guys!”
“The order is being delivered!” The Server announced that while she placed the first round of plates and a bottle of Wine on the table.
“Thank you so much!” Fleurlanda and I said in unison.
“You guys are welcome!” The Server replied.
“Yummy! Are you related to me?” Fleurlanda asked me.
“Why do you ask?” I replied.
“Because it seems like you know exactly what I like,” she said.
“Wow! I’m really flattered,” she added.
“I’m really happy to hear that,” I responded.
After the first bite, I exclaimed, “Yummy! This is good!”
She laughed.
“You are absolutely right!” She replied while we were both eating.
“The Lobster Tail and its sauce are really delicious!” She remarked as well.
“That's true!” I replied.
“I also adore the Wine!”
“It's incredibly tasty!” She exclaimed.
“Me too!” I responded.
As we enjoyed our meal and drinks, I shared with her the story of the floating Planet that everyone in town knew about but had never seen.
“Fleurlanda?” I called her sweet, lovely name.
“Yes!” She replied.
“You know about the invisible Object that's still hovering in the Sky, right?” I inquired.
“Yes! Why do you ask?” She responded.
“I think I might have an idea of what it is,” I said.
“Keep this between us; don't tell anyone!” I urged her.
“Really?” She said, intrigued.
“Wow! What is it?” She pressed.
“Please tell me what it is!” She pleaded.
I whispered to her so that no one else could hear, “It's a floating Planet!”
“What?”
“A Planet?” She exclaimed.
“Yes!” I confirmed.
“Are you sure?” She asked. “I do not doubt it because I know!” I replied.
“How can you prove what you're saying?” She challenged me.
“But what type of Planet are we talking about?”
“Can you describe it as you perceived it?” She inquired. “It's a Ball, like a vibrant Ball made up of various colors, swiftly moving through the Sky!” I described it to her.
“Do you comprehend?” I asked her.
“No! I'll believe you when I see it,” she responded with a laugh.
“You want to see it too! I'll help you catch a glimpse when the time is right!” I assured her.
“Stop joking! Get out of here!” She replied and laughed again like I was crazy.
“No, seriously! Just be patient, okay?” I insisted.
After a few minutes, we finished our meal and the Wine, and I signaled the Server to bring the second round, which was Yogurt mixed with Grains and Fruits.
“Thank you!” I said to the Server.
“You're welcome!” She replied.
“Thank you!” Fleurlanda also expressed her appreciation to the Server.
“You're welcome!” The Server also responded to her.
“The second round of your order has just been delivered!” The Server informed us after she took away the first round and placed the second round on the table.
“That's fantastic!” I responded.
“Thank you!” I added.
“You are all welcome!” She replied.
“Wait!” Fleurlanda wondered.
“What?” She guessed.
“More?” She was puzzled.
“What?” I asked her.
“Another round?” She replied. “Yes! This time it's a bit sweet,” I answered.
We began to eat and laugh together.
A few minutes later, she inquired about the time, asking, “What time is it?”
I glanced at my watch and said, “It's nearly 5 PM.”
“Oh, I should head home now?” She remarked.
“Why?” I suggested it.
“It's already getting close to evening,” she noted.
“But you haven't had the second round yet?” I replied.
“We need to hurry, or I'll take it home!” She insisted.
We quickly finished the Yogurt mixed with Grains and Fruits.
Once we were done eating, we stood up from the table, I settled the bill, and we exited the bar.
